How to Live Without Fear During a Time of Global Crises
We live in uncertain times. Life has never felt more dangerous and unpredictable on a global scale than it does now. With the constant emphasis on fear, most people don’t realize how they are severely damaging their immunity.
Research has shown us time and again that there’s a strong correlation between the body and mind. Whatever we believe to be true, eventually, becomes our reality – whether it is what we believe about our bodies or with regards to our experience of life.
Here, it is also important to understand that whatever we are experiencing in the world at a collective level is a result of the dominant thoughts and vibrations emitted by the inhabitants of this planet. While we can’t change the collective reality of humanity by solely working on ourselves, we can surely work on creating our own sub-reality within this larger reality.
Living Without Fear
Everything in life is temporary. Change is the only constant in this world. There is no point holding on to the past or trying to grip too tightly to a future you want to manifest but that isn’t already a part of your reality.
While you should certainly visualize what you want to manifest, it should always be done with a positive frame of mind. Don’t let frustration or impatience bog you down as this will only cause the goal post to slip further away from your reach.
Trust that what you want is already yours. Practice gratitude by saying ‘thank you’ to the Universe for everything that you are already blessed with.
This can be difficult when you’re experiencing negative situations in your present environment. However, during challenging times it is all the more important that you remain focused on the good and channel all your energy towards what you want instead of allowing yourself to become bogged down by your immediate difficulties.
Finding Humor

Life is just a ride in an adventure park. The highs and lows of life are not that different from the slopes and turns of a roller coaster. If you’ll take life too seriously, then it will surely depress you. The greatest truth of life is that everything in it is transitory. We are here only for a limited period of time – that’s the real beauty of the human experience.
When things get tough, you must look even harder to find the humor in every situation. This is the only way to maintain good health on all levels. It is definitely very important to practice detachment by stepping away from your current life circumstances and witnessing what’s happening as a third person. Practice witnessing your own life as if it were a movie on a screen.
By joking about a situation, you allow yourself to drop the emotional weight you’d otherwise be carrying around. Human life is a brief experience. We all have to leave this world eventually. What matters are the choices we make while we are here in this world. Hence, we must make the most of all the blessings we have received.
Live One Day at a Time
During unprecedented times it can be quite overwhelming to think of the future. Even when you are practicing visualization and focusing on manifesting a desired future life, your logical mind is likely to interfere with your heart.
When you’re feeling overwhelmed by thinking about the future and it feels impossible to remain positive, the best thing you can do is to pull your mind into the present. Practice gratitude towards all the blessings that you currently have. Gratitude is the best antidote to fear.
While living in globally challenging times can be quite crushing, you can also choose to focus on the silver lining that comes with it. The gong of uncertainty can help you live every single day to the fullest. Don’t put off anything for tomorrow. Live every day as if it were your last because, in the end, life is a transient experience.
Focus on Giving
The best way to get your mind off your own worries is by doing something for someone else without expecting anything in return. By practicing humanity, we reaffirm the fact that goodness is always going to be present in this world no matter how grim things look on the surface.
You don’t have to do big things to make a difference. Do whatever you can – this could mean smiling at a stranger, giving a compliment to someone, or something bigger like buying a meal for people who can’t afford it under the current circumstances.
Maintain a Routine
When life gets tough, the first thing that goes out of the window is our routine. Without a fixed routine, you’ll end up feeling as if life is spiraling out of control. Hence, you must work on retaining a healthy routine no matter how impossible it feels to do so.
Maintain a schedule for exercising and eating healthy. Do things that allow you to relax your mind and rewire your emotions. For instance, you can meditate, take a walk in nature, paint, journal.
Don’t get too obsessed with what’s happening in the world. Remain informed but if things begin to affect you emotionally and mentally, then you surely need to withdraw inwards and take a break from the insanity of this world.
Remain Calm
We all make better decisions when we are in a calm and collected state of mind. Don’t allow your emotions to run haywire. Maintaining a routine will surely help you in this regard. You can’t control the world but you can always mold your routine in a way that serves you best.
This way you will also inspire others to find the best in any situation. We are here to give love and inspiration to others. That’s the real purpose of this brief experience called life. Every challenge brings with it an immense opportunity for growth. You must outgrow all your challenges.
If the world seems to be falling apart, then it is all the more important to get your spiritual house in order. Rest your soul within the confines of your spiritual house and you’ll be able to find the strength to brave the storms of the outer world with courage, fortitude, and equanimity.
