The King of Oils

It dawned on me recently that I have a secret weapon. I didn’t mean to keep it a secret, but I realized that I haven’t really told many people either.

A few of my family members have been suffering with pneumonia. One was hospitalized. Pneumonia is one of the many things I have had to overcome, and I found an old cure that works (for me at least) better than any prescription antibiotic.

I’ve had seriously bad “stay in the hospital” pneumonia three times, and I don’t ever want it again. The last time was really scary, and It caused permanent damage to my lungs.

Of course, I make sure to avoid sick people, take vitamins, etc., but every year I would get bronchitis (or a sinus infection that would turn into bronchitis) and that would inevitably lead to pneumonia.

In reading helpful info online, I discovered Oregano Oil. Once called the “king of oils”, Oregano oil is one of the most powerful antibiotics, antivirals and antifungals found in nature. This is something that should be in every medicine cabinet.

Some believe Oregano Oil to be more powerful and healing than any man made antibiotic. Since none of the doctor prescribed antibiotics ever seemed to work for me (probably because it was viral pneumonia, not bacterial), and this one seems a miracle in comparison, I would agree with that theory.

Are You Doubtful?

Last year, we gave Oregano Oil capsules to my father in law. He had severe bronchitis and a very sore throat. He had been given a second z-pack (prescribed antibiotic) and a giant Motrin pill for the pain (which he couldn’t even swallow). After the first day of treating with Oregano Oil, Dad was noticing a difference. He began feeling a lot better after the second day.

I’m sharing this example because my father-in-law is not someone to believe in herbal remedies, but he couldn’t deny what a difference that simple oil could make.

Is it Too Expensive?

I’ll be honest and say it took me a while to purchase a bottle for myself because it seemed a bit expensive to me. (The big bottle I buy is about $45.) It was desperation that drove me to the point of purchase.  And, I finally realized the cost of doctor appointments, feeling horrible and taking meds that didn’t work (and were not doing nice things to my insides) was actually more costly.

How I Use Oregano Oil

You can buy the oil liquid, which usually comes with a dropper. However, I buy the capsules because I don’t like the taste of the oil. It’s just more convenient.

Also, Oregano Oil should be stored in a refrigerator or another cool/dry place to preserve freshness.

Keep in mind, I’m not a doctor or an herbalist.

You really should consult with your doctor to ensure there will be no interactions with anything else you are taking. (And don’t be surprised if they roll their eyes at you. Many doctors still do not believe in the power of herbal medicines because that’s not what they were taught.) I just want you to be safe.

You should also be aware of any possible side effects. If you’re allergic to lavender or oregano, you may be allergic to oregano oil. Also, do not use if you are pregnant.

My goal here is simply to share something powerful and amazing that works for me and may also work for you.

For Congestion, Bronchitis or Pneumonia:

If I start to get congested, I get serious right away. My go to treatment is Oregano Oil and Mucinex (with expectorant only). My goal is to get the garbage out of my lungs as soon as possible, and this method has worked well for me for several years now. I went from suffering yearly with severe pneumonia, and now I don’t. And what I’ve shared with you here is what made the difference.

So, I used to have a recurring candida issue that was really, really annoying … and uncomfortable.

One day I realized Oregano Oil might help with that, too. I did some research to confirm and Voila! My miracle medicine saved me again.

My go to method for yeast infections and UTI’s is now Oregano Oil capsules and cranberry caplets, and I thank God/dess for that!!! If anyone out there is allergic to all the over the counter creams, like me, this might be the answer to your prayers, too. FYI, if you really need a cream in addition, try coconut oil. (Coconut oil also has antifungal properties.)
