A little about Angel Messenger

Angel Messenger is dedicated to helping people from all over the world to connect with Heaven. We offer free online angel card readings as well as interesting articles from our audience, peers and colleagues. It is our mission to create a space online where everyone can learn and share spiritual knowledge.

We currently cater toward spiritual matters but also understand the vital importance of other aspects of our lives that impact our spiritual selves. If you have information to share with our audience that would help them to live their lives in a way that is both authentic and healthy (spiritually, emotionally, mentally or physically), we would be happy to consider promoting a piece of your work. Anyone (over 18 years old) from anywhere in the world can submit a piece for inclusion in our blog.

Our readers want to hear from real people who are willing to share themselves honestly and authentically – even if it makes them a bit vulnerable.

Share your positive message with our readers. Our readers need hope, inspiration and motivation. If you’ve been through a life challenge and come out the other side, our readers would love to know how you did it. Can you share with us your personal growth stories?

Your story may be exactly what someone needs in order to find peace, strength or hope. Your story may give someone the courage to take action or at least help them discover a path to a happier, healthier and more abundant life.

Guest Post Submission Guidelines

1.       Original Content

We only share original content with our readers that has never been published elsewhere – in print or online. Your piece should be 100% original, not recycled from other posts, and must be written by you. In fact, our readers connect most with posts that sound like a real person wrote them. Write your post as if you’re talking with a friend.

Content should be educational, informative, thought-provoking and easily understandable.  We may edit your submission for length, content, clarity, spelling and grammatical errors.  We do not pay or charge for submissions, though a quality article can provide excellent exposure.

Your piece should be evergreen, meaning that it will be just as valid six months from now as it is today. We do not publish time-sensitive guest posts. We are in the process of creating new categories and are open to all topics relating to wellness – especially spiritual wellness.

Please keep in mind that Google frowns on duplicated content, so we do not to publish articles that have been posted online elsewhere in order to protect the integrity of our site as well as yours.

2.       Word Count/Format

The length of your piece can be anywhere from 500-1500 words and should be written in a MS Word document. Please be aware that the formatting of your content may be edited to better fit the style and tone of our blog.

3.       Links

If you need to include a link or two, please make a note. Links must be relevant to the article itself. For example, a link to scientific proof or research can add credibility. (Please do back up all research statements.) Please do not posts links to your site within the piece as there are proper places for this (bio and author line at top of post). Please also note that we reserve the right not to use the links you’ve suggested or to use ones better suited if necessary.

4.       Images

We no longer accept images with posts as we have run into issues. Instead, we will purchase or create at least one image to use for your piece.

5.       Your Editing

Please ensure that your piece is grammatically correct and error free. It’s always a good idea to get a second set of eyes to take a look at your writing to help catch easy to miss errors.

Keep in mind that you are solely responsible for the accuracy and information contained in your piece.

6.       Our Editing

We will review your piece and reserve the right to edit prior to publishing. We may add photos and links to make your piece more engaging to our readers and shareable on social media platforms. This may also include changing the format and/or title. However, if heavy edits are made, we will have you approve the piece before publishing.

We reserve the right to edit or even reject submissions.

7.       Copyright & Reprint Permission

By submitting this work, you agree that you are the author, and you grant Angel Messenger and Rev. Sheri the rights to publish on our websites, newsletters and social media outlets.  You, as the author, retain all copyrights for your submitted work.  Any time we publish your work, your name will be used and given credit as the author.

We cannot publish anything that you do not personally own the copyright to (including for but not limited to photos, audio/video recordings, etc.)

8.       Your Bio

Include a short bio about yourself (100 words or less). This is also where you will want to include links to your own site as well as your social media platforms. This provides a way for our readers to learn more about your work and to connect with you. We will review your bio and reserve the right to edit prior to publishing.

9.       Deadlines

All pieces must be received by the first of the month before they are published. We schedule our editorial calendar 1 month in advance. So, if your piece is received on September 15, it will most likely be posted in November. The deadline for November pieces would be October 1st.

Reminder: we do not publish time-sensitive posts.

Due to Google’s publishing rules, once a piece is posted, it cannot be removed.

10.   We Do Not Accept

PR firm/Advertisement/Promotional pieces are not accepted at this time. This also includes those looking for backlinks from our site. We know what we are worth – No means No!

We do not currently accept monthly columns or articles posted in parts.

11.   Submit Your Piece for Publication

Submit your piece via the form below (after you have read all the info on this page). We will respond within 30 days if your piece will be used. If you haven’t heard from us after 30 days, your post may not have been a good fit for Angel Messenger. You may submit a different post after this 30 day period. Please do not submit more than one post in any 30 day period.

The submission of your piece does not guarantee publication.

12.   Spread the Word

We will email you to let you know the date your piece will be published. We encourage you to mark the date on your calendar and then to share it with your own audience (via email, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc). Your piece being published on Angel Messenger may help to build your own credibility and/or client base (for those who are practitioners).

Our readers want to hear from you personally, so be sure to check in and connect with anyone who may have left a comment. (Check in a few days after posting at least.)

Of course, we will also share your piece with our audience. We send our newsletters (which includes guest posts) twice a month. We also connect with our audience through Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and LinkedIn. We reserve the right to edit and use submitted pieces at any time in our newsletters, social media platforms and/or on our website(s).
