Stay Optimistic Card Extended Description - Mermaids and Dolphins Oracle Cards by Doreen Virtue

“The Magical Mermaids & Dolphins Oracle Cards are specifically geared to help you manifest your desires, life purpose, and Divinely inspired dreams. These cards can help you swim into the ocean of your unconscious mind, where profound thoughts and feelings can create – or block – your heart’s desire. Your manifestations will appear more quickly and accurately once you discover your true, deep beliefs. I’ve also infused these cards with blessings, to support you in manifesting your beautiful, joyful life and Divine mission.” – Doreen Virtue, Instructions for Working with the Magical Mermaids & Dolphins Oracle Cards.

Though Doreen no longer believes in her work, we do believe in the work we have created here and hope you will find it helpful. If you enjoy our Free Online Angel Card Readings, please consider making a donation. May you be blessed.

This card talks about not giving up right before miracle occurs…but after a month of emotional instability with husband and his crisis/depression – it’s hard for me to believe that a miracle will happen soon!

I don’t really have any dreams, so I think for me this is more about optimism. I try to be optimistic but I’ve been in physical pain for over a decade and no doctor seems to have an answer (or any interest). I’ve been unable to work and I have no friends but I’m doing all I can. I have asked the Angels to help me understand the spiritual purpose for my suffering (if there is one) many times but I don’t seem to be able to interpret their signs/messages. These cards help.

Thank you for connecting with us, Sophie. It’s frustrating to deal with unexplained physical pain. I myself have been struggling with migraine headaches since I was a young teen and have had mysterious nerve and muscle pain for the last few years. It can be really defeating visiting doctor after doctor with hopes that one will have the answer only to have them look right through you because they just don’t know what to say. My heart goes out to you.

Winter is the worst for me as the cold makes it worse. Many days I am stuck in bed (for several days or a week at time), and yeah it is really difficult to maintain a social life when you can’t leave the house.

I’m glad you see this as a message of optimism because that means you have not lost hope. (I actually had to manifest some for a while.) You might be doing better than you realize, so please do give yourself a big hug.

I would like to give you one bit of advice, though. Being in pain, literally stuck in place with seemingly no end in sight can be really, really heartbreaking for someone who feels like they are not doing what they came here to do (spiritual mission). One thing that I feel has not been made abundantly clear to people like us is that our first mission is ourselves. So, please take the time you need to heal. Add enriching things to your life that helps brighten your day. Little things can make a big difference. Open the curtains to let in the sunshine, draw or paint to bring something beautiful into your world, spend some quality time with someone you love. You might have better ideas that are more personal to you.

I also set alarms on my cell phone to remind me to take a few moments out for gratitude … because even though I might be in pain, the sun might have been shining outside my window today. Even on the days when I am truly depressed and feel like I’ve let the whole world down (because I’m sick), I am grateful for Riley (my dog) because I never seem to let him down … as long as I have plenty of kisses to give and do share all my snacks! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Again, thank you for sharing. I’m glad what we do here is helping you. Wishing you love and healing energy! <3

Thank you for taking the time to reply. (I was given this card again today)

I agree with all that you said, and I hope others with similar issues will find comfort in your words too.

In many ways, it is hope that has kept me going, and I’ve gradually become better at managing my pain etc. I have recently begun doing small things for myself, so I will accept that part of your reply as confirmation that I’m on the right path.

Blessings to you, and thank you again.

Just wanted to say thanks to Rev. Sheri for the comment “our first responsibility is to ourselves..” (and for Sophie for sharing) I feel sometimes getting on with our life purposes is so heavily emphasized, but for people who struggle with chronic illness of any kind, that can be a huge (and I mean huge) pressure. I also deal with chronic pain and illness, and an overwhelming sense that i have a big mission to fill and the time to do it is now, but i have no idea what that purpose is, or even if i could do whatever that is anymore. Sometimes just getting through the day is hard enough. But thank you so much for this website and the work you do here, it has become a “safe place” for me, and I’m grateful its here for me to come for guidance when my soul is tired and I just need some comfort from the angels. Thank you for what you do!

            Hi Sabrina,

Thank you for the kind words about our website. ๐Ÿ™‚ I will make sure Rev Sheri sees your comment and I am glad it has become a safe place for you to come when you need it. Remember Rev Sheri said to find the simple things in your day to brighten it and try not get to consumed with filling a particular mission in life, especially if you are struggling to get through your day. It doesn’t have to be a big thing necessarily as we can touch the lives around us in a positive way and often times we may be an huge inspiration to someone and we don’t even know it.

I don’t know if we all learn the purpose of some of the things we have to face in our life other than there is some type of lesson in it or so I believe. There is actually a good book I read about our soul’s purpose here is the amazon link if you are interested, http://amzn.to/2x9rs3S

            Many blessings to you!

That’s a great point, Nora! It would be very difficult for her walk the path. Maybe the card is saying that even a mermaid should have hope that she’ll eventually find her land legs. ๐Ÿ˜‰

      Thank you for sharing!
