3 Reasons You Shouldn’t Pray

Some people believe in the power of prayer and some don’t. If you’ve ever been on a social media site ever in your life, you’ve probably seen posts asking for prayers for this or that. Some are completely made up things which can make people (even me) a bit cynical. Some have seen real benefits from connecting with others and using the power of mass prayer, but it can also be easy to find reasons not to pray.

1. You have better things to do!

You’ve got things to do, places to go, people to see. Your life is so great, there’s no need to pray!

Wait … what?

Hey, if you’re life is awesome and you have no need for even the smallest miracle in your life, that’s great. Yay for you! For most of us, though, that daily conversation with Heaven is totally necessary.

If you’re thinking prayer is too difficult, you might be doing it wrong. Prayer really doesn’t need to be a full on ceremony. Just have a conversation with God/Your Angels/Loved Ones/Spirit Guides just like you would with anyone else. Think of it like a journal you have in your head, and there’s a super special secret person who reads it.

If you’ve got better things to do, great! But, if you need a friend who can perform small miracles, prayer might be for you! 😉

2. Prayer Doesn’t Work

Sometimes praying can seem like talking to a brick wall in your head. Maybe it seems like you never get a response, or your prayers are never answered. Of course that can be frustrating, but prayer is a great way to let Heaven and the universe know about your needs. Remember, your Angels cannot help you if you don’t ask (free will and all that).

It’s important to always be open to the many different ways Heaven can speak to us. Sometimes we think we’re not getting a response when in reality we just don’t understand how they are responding or maybe just can’t translate the messages we’re getting. You have to learn to speak a language that Heaven can communicate through, and you do that by developing your intuitive gifts.

3. You’re Mad at God

Whoa have I been there! Hey, you know what? If you’re mad at God, it’s not exactly a secret. Did you think he wouldn’t know? You might as well be up front and honest about it. Your relationship with God/Heaven/Your Angels/Guides/Loved Ones … etc, etc are exactly that … r-e-l-a-t-i-o-n-s-h-i-p-s!

Do you know the most important cornerstone of all healthy relationships? Communication!!! If you’re not happy with someone in Heaven, maybe it’s time to have a little chat. Talk it out … you’ll feel better.
