When the Lion Walked Beside Me

When the Lion Walked Beside Me
A Sacred Encounter With the Lion of Judah

There are moments in life when everything feels like it’s shifting—when the weight of the world presses down, and something ancient stirs within the soul. For me, one of those moments came recently, and it changed me.
For two days before this moment, I had been defending God and Christ publicly on Facebook. I was responding to waves of religious distortion with truth, compassion, and conviction—calling people back to the real heart of God, the Light of Christ, and the truth of Divine Love. By the second night, I was completely drained—spiritually, emotionally, and physically.
It was late. I was standing at the top of my stairs, calling down to our pets that it was bedtime, when I suddenly felt a presence. A large Lion was standing to my left. He was taller than me, and undeniably powerful—yet I felt no fear. His presence radiated safety, love, peace, and support. I didn’t question it. I was so tired that I simply took comfort in the experience and went to bed, held in a blanket of divine calm.
What’s more, for those two days prior, I had been hearing the phrase “Lion of Judah” echoing in my spirit. I hadn’t yet made the connection. Even in that sacred moment, I didn’t consciously link the Lion to those words. It wasn’t until the next morning, when I finally Googled the phrase, that I remembered—the Lion of Judah is Christ Himself.
I was stunned. Of course I had heard it before—how could I forget? But now I knew in my bones what I had encountered.
I had walked into my purpose—defending the true Christ Light—without even realizing it.
And I was met with the approval and presence of the Lion Himself.
That was humbling beyond words.
I prayed. I meditated. And something within me shifted. The words that came weren’t forced; they flowed like sacred fire. Christ is Love. God is Love. Heaven is not angry—it is grieved. Grieved by the hatred and distortion being spread in the name of the Holy.
🕊️ A Sacred Thread Remembered
A few days after the encounter, another memory returned.
Before I was hospitalized a year and a half ago, I had been regularly doing personal blessings with sacred anointing oils, calling in Christ and consecrating space for spiritual work. After I came home from that place, I stopped. Something had been violated. My ShamanRe oil—a beloved blend—had been left with the top half-unscrewed, spilled out all over the bottle. The energy around my oils no longer felt safe, and I hadn’t touched them since.
But this memory stuck in my head, so I glanced at them again. And there, sitting quietly among them, was a bottle I had nearly forgotten:
The Lion of Judah sacred oil.
I had been using it for blessing and consecration without fully grasping its significance. I had welcomed Christ spiritually, but now I wonder—had the use of that oil called Him in physically? Tangibly?
Since that time of deep trauma, I’ve been seeing signs. Footprints—not physical ones, but spiritual affirmations. Echoes of a presence walking beside me through the darkest valley. And now, this: a moment when I didn’t just see or sense, but felt Him. Clearly. Lovingly. As if a person were standing right beside me.
He has walked with me the whole time.
And now, He has let me feel it.
While I’m not ready to share the full vision that followed, I can say this: it was sacred. And it reminded me that there are things happening beneath the surface of our world—real spiritual movements, awakenings, and activations. It’s not about fear. It’s about remembering who we are.
In the days that followed, I was guided to write a blessing inspired by this encounter. It came through my heart with holy fire, and I offer it now to you:

May this blessing meet you wherever you are.
May it remind you that you, too, are not alone.
And may it bring comfort to those who are quietly carrying the Light through darkened lands.
There is a Lion who still walks beside those who remember.
He is not gone. He is not silent.
He is Christ in majesty.
And He still stands for love—uncompromised, undiminished, and undeniable.
With reverence and holy fire,
