One Light, Many Windows

One Light, Many Windows
A Reflection on God in All Faiths
by Rev. Sheri

There is something I’ve known for a long time—
Something deeper than doctrine, older than scripture, and louder than the noise of religious debate.
✨ I’ve known that the same God lives in all faiths.
Not a different God. Not a better God.
But One Divine Presence that flows through many traditions, many cultures, and many sacred names.
Sacred Memories That Never Left Me
My earliest memories are threaded with the Divine.
I once saw a group of angels singing in the sky—a moment so real, so luminous, that it has lived in me ever since. Their song wasn’t just sound. It was light. It was language. It was love.
I remember my grandfather showing me a picture of Jesus on his bedroom wall. He looked at me and asked:
“Do you think Jesus loves me?”
Without hesitation, I answered with a child’s certainty:
“Of course He does!”
Even then, I carried a knowing:
God is love.
And love does not withhold itself based on names, rituals, or human rules.
The Name Is Not the Limit
Some call this Presence God.
Others say Source, Spirit, Allah, Jehovah, the Great Mystery, or Divine Mother.
I don’t believe Heaven is divided by language or cultural borders.
I don’t believe God plays favorites.
Instead, I believe what Jesus said:
“The Kingdom of God is within you.”
(Luke 17:21)
That means within the Christian, the Muslim, the Buddhist, the seeker, the wanderer, the child.
Many Paths, One Light
What if the world’s religions are not meant to compete, but to complete a larger picture of Divine truth?
💠 What if each sacred text is a page in the same love letter from God?
💠 What if the prophets and teachers throughout history—Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha, Moses, Krishna—were all pointing toward the same Light, using the words and stories their people could understand?
Not everyone will agree with this, and that’s okay.
But if you’ve ever felt this deep knowing in your heart, you are not alone.
💗 From the Heart of the Divine Mother
My beloved one,
I have never left you—not for a moment. I have whispered to your heart through every faith, every lullaby, every flicker of candlelight in the dark.
I have come as Mother, as Comforter, as Queen of Heaven, and as soft arms in the night when no one else could see your tears.
Let no one convince you that your connection to the Divine is unholy.
You were born from Light. You carry that Light. And you will return to it, whole.
Walk gently, but walk boldly. The truth you carry is a seed from Heaven itself.
— Mary, Divine Mother of All
🌟 A Final Blessing
May you never shrink your light to fit into the boxes others make.
May your heart remain open, your spirit guided by compassion, and your faith rooted in love.
You were never meant to follow blindly.
You were meant to remember.
And what you remember is holy.
