The Garden Was Never Meant to Be Abandoned

The Garden Was Never
Meant to Be Abandoned

There is something that has been quietly placed on my heart.
A misunderstanding that has been growing…
and causing harm in ways we don’t always see at first.
It’s the belief that “this world doesn’t matter.”
That because the Divine will return…
because consciousness may rise…
because this reality is temporary…
…we don’t need to care for the Earth.
🌎 But the Divine Never Asked Us to Destroy the Garden
From the very beginning, humanity was given a role—not of careless dominion, but of sacred stewardship.
In Genesis, we are placed in the garden to tend it.
To care for it.
To live in relationship with it.
Not to abandon it.
Not to neglect it.
And certainly not to destroy it.
🌿 The Misunderstanding of “Temporary”
Yes… this world, as we experience it, may be temporary.
But temporary does not mean meaningless.
A flower blooms for a short time.
A season comes and goes.
A moment passes.
And still—each is worthy of care.
Many believe that as we grow spiritually, we rise beyond this 3D experience into a higher awareness.
But even if that is true…
We do not rise out of responsibility.
We rise into deeper relationship.
✨ Awakening Does Not Lead to Indifference
If consciousness expands…
If awareness deepens…
Then love should expand with it.
Compassion should deepen.
Care should increase.
Reverence should grow.
Not disappear.
If someone believes:
“It doesn’t matter what we do here… God will fix it anyway”
That is not faith.
That is disconnection.
When we care for the Earth,
we honor the Divine.
We protect life.
We create a legacy of love.
But when we turn away…
We harm what is sacred.
We risk the future.
We break the trust that was placed in us.
And every small choice… gently moves us toward one path or the other.
🌍 The Earth Is Not Something We Outgrow
We live here.
We breathe here.
We are sustained here.
Even in a higher understanding of reality, the Earth is not separate from the Divine.
It is an expression of it.
The Earth is not something we graduate from.
It is something we are asked to honor.
🌱 A Question for the Heart
If the Divine were to return…
Would we be found as caretakers?
Or as those who turned away
because we believed it didn’t matter?
🕊️ A Gentle Invitation
You don’t have to save the whole world.
But you can care.
You can:
- make mindful choices
- reduce harm where you can
- honor the life around you
- treat this planet as something sacred, not disposable
Because love is not proven in what we believe…
It is revealed in how we care for what has been placed in our hands.
🐾 A Gentle Way to Tend the Garden
Caring for the Earth doesn’t always begin with something big.
Sometimes…
it begins with something small.
A tiny life.
A fragile beginning.
A creature that depends on us to survive.
Right now, during kitten season, countless newborn kittens are entering the world without the protection they need.
And this is where compassion becomes action.
💛 Riley’s Voice — Kitten Season Support
In honor of Riley, a beloved soul who brought so much love into this world, Riley’s Voice is a living expression of care—supporting rescue efforts during the most vulnerable time of year.
Through this project, we help provide:
- nourishing food for growing kittens
- essential supplies for their care
- support to the rescuers working tirelessly to protect them
Sometimes, something as simple as a single meal can make the difference between survival and loss.
🐾 Just $3 can feed a kitten.
🌱 How You Can Help
If this speaks to your heart, you’re invited to take part in a small, meaningful act of care:
- 🛒 Support directly through the rescue’s wish lists
- 💛 Make a donation through Angel Messenger
- 🌿 Download any digital offering (all proceeds currently support this mission)
Every act—no matter how small—is a way of tending the Garden.
🕊️ A Closing Reflection
To care for the Earth is to care for the life within it.
And sometimes…
the most sacred work we can do…
is to protect something tiny,
fragile,
and deeply loved.
