I ask for their help in doing my healing work with people and animals and set the intention that the healing goes out to all sentient beings and the earth itself. When the help arrives, in the form of books, articles, offers of support or whatever, I say Yes and accept it with thanks.

Play, something many of us truly don’t remember. Even as children, how quickly play gave way to competition and dominance struggles. A tragedy. I see above this now. I see it all. Below and behind is this churning, brackish water, that seems to turn into a putrified sludge, but ahead, I see the light, and the light is taking over.
How do you attract what you want in life? The answer is not as complicated as you may think, but attracting what you want does require a certain degree of belief in something that goes beyond the physical senses. It requires a belief in something that you cannot see, smell, hear, or touch.
I will not yield to the delusions of the masses. I am a vessel for the fire of truth. If you come to me with your petty stories of who you think you are, and how you can never be happy or free, the Spirit within me will eat you whole, as a sunflower seed, taking you into itself, and spitting out the hard but shallow shell of your false beliefs.
As a young teen growing up in a small southern town on the east coast, my parents used this weekly phrase to remind me of my lack of order “until this room is completely clean, you aren’t going anywhere with your friends!” I can’t help but wonder how many of you experienced a similar parental tactic. Does that method REALLY make you want to clean up your room?
