No Misery Diet (Affirmation)
I am going on a diet,
A special diet where misery isn’t allowed.
I will no longer check my cell phone
For texts and messages
Every five minutes.
I will find five joyful things
To experience each day
And will do them without hesitation.
Then journal about them
Each one,
In their glory.
I will put in my body
Only foods that bring me health and joy.
No longer will I self sabotage,
With lousy relationships or
Cruel couplings with men,
Of which I should know better.
There will be no further settling
For disrespectful treatment,
As I focus on my own self respect
The world around me will change.
I’m going on a diet
Of hope and eager choices,
Expecting miracles,
With the bite of each moment.

Oooh Fawn, I second this all the way! Time for us who are about empowerment to get on full-steam, I’m tired of watching people die in their misery when they can just move on.. Maybe that sounds tough, but I’m loving this article! The way is open folks, it’s the just the willingness to walk down it and believe that it’s true. I firmly believe we all have the equal and full capability to be the full, glorious beings we truly are at all times, and nothing can stain or take that away. Ever. Love it! <3
