Time to Move On

When I first started using the “Magical Mermaids & Dolphins” Oracle Card Deck, this card was one of my favorites.  It kept coming up for me in just about every reading I did for myself, and I loved the imagery.

Do you see how the woman is walking out of dark, turbulent waters?  As she leaves that all behind, she walks out and her dress is lightened.  It’s like her dress shows a glimpse into her soul, which becomes more pure with every step she takes forward. Sometimes you have to love yourself enough to let go of the things holding you back.

When I was getting this card for myself, I was working in an extremely negative environment as a retail manager.  My store was something like 10,000 square feet, and I had about 20 employees.  It was not a job I enjoyed at all.  The problems were ridiculous and overwhelming.  At one time, I was expected to go into my store in the middle of the night without the police because headquarters security (located states away) had reason to believe the store was being robbed.  I am all of about 5 feet tall and was pregnant at the time.  I don’t know how they thought I was going to stop some robbers … but that’s just one story.

I was sick and tired of working for a company like that, and I was seeing the greed  and selfish actions I couldn’t do anything about.  I wanted to make a difference in our world, and working for a corporation wasn’t getting me there.  This card was my guides and angels telling me to let go and move on, and I’m so glad I did.  My soul feels so much better in my current job!  😉
