Worthiness

When I see this card come through in a reading, it makes me want to jump through the phone and wrap my arms around the person in a big hug.  I know what it’s like to feel unworthy, to be in a crowd of people and to feel like you don’t belong there or that you don’t deserve the good things that have come into your life.

For many lightworkers, myself included, a difficult childhood is not unusual.  That childhood tends to leave us with scars that make accepting good things in our lives a bit complicated.

Personally, my life has been fairly good now for longer than it was bad, but feeling worthy is something I still struggle with.  I met my soulmate in my senior year of high school, and for a long time felt like I was always waiting for something or someone to take him away from me.  People in my life had always found a way to use me, abuse me or leave me, and I didn’t see how I deserved to finally have someone who wasn’t that way.

If this card has shown up for you, I can only imagine that you know exactly what I’m talking about.  Maybe you didn’t have a bad childhood, and that’s wonderful.  But, you must be having difficulty feeling you are worthy about something.

Are you a parent who’s always giving to their children but never taking time for yourself?  You deserve to have “you time”, and that time will make you a better parent.

Are you in a relationship that is unworthy of you?  Relationships that make us feel badly about ourselves are not healthy.  Maybe it’s time to consider that you deserve something more.

Have you been considering becoming a reader or healer but feel you’re not good enough or trained highly enough?  You don’t need to pay thousands of dollars to be a certified psychic.  No matter your skill level, you can do readings for others as long as you are honest about your experience.  When I started, I had no Earthly training, but my clients knew that.  Getting training can certainly jumpstart your skills as well as your confidence, but don’t feel you can’t help others without it.  A good heart with loving intentions can create a lot of positive change in this world.

Or, maybe you want to apply for that job or promotion but don’t think you’re good enough to get it.  Well, you can’t get that job/promotion if you don’t try, and you never know what they are really looking for.  When my husband applied for his current job, they wanted someone with a degree he hadn’t yet completed, but it turned out he was the type of person they were looking for.  Even if you don’t get this job, maybe it’s just the fact that you put it out to the universe that you want and will accept something more that will bring you something else.

This card is simply telling you that you deserve something better, something you’re maybe not allowing yourself to accept.  You deserve to receive good in your life.  No matter what has happened to you in your past, and no matter who you’ve been in your past, you deserve the good that is trying to enter into your life.  Please know this.
