Shiza Shahid helped Taliban gunshot victim Malala Yousafzai return to school, and is the co-founder and director of the Malala Fund. The fund supports education innovators and activists across the world. Shahid has supported Malala’s work since 2009, when she mentored Malala and others in a summer retreat in Pakistan to raise awareness about the Taliban’s attack on female education.  TEDx Talks
