I have gone to your site for years, but now there’s so many ads. I can’t get anywhere on it and the free angel readings have been modified to such a degree. They don’t even make any sense. I’m very sorry because it was a great site and I enjoyed it.

As you know, running websites on servers, security (you wouldn’t believe how many times a day someone tries to hack our site…hundreds of times), maintaining, creating new content and updating costs money. The best way to help us pay for those costs are though Google Ads. Without ad revenue, we can’t keep the site up.
Since so many of our users enjoy our free readings on mobile devices we are limited in ways that we can show people advertisements. When everyone was viewing them on their home computers we could have ads in the sidebars and that worked out ok. Now, everyone is on mobile so no sidebars.
Fewer people clicking on ads = less money. Over the past couple of years, our audience has grown, but our revenue has gone down by more than 50% overall. We are not a huge company. We are just a small family trying to run a website we are passionate about.Â
Recently, we were able to update our Google ads to “auto ads” which basically means Google tries to find the best place for the ads. We have the auto ads set to a lower integration mode and have only selected options that shouldn’t be too intrusive, but we can’t control where Google puts them.
In a perfect world, we wouldn’t have any ads, but unfortunately, at this time it just isn’t possible. We could switch over to a monthly pay model with no ads, but I can’t imagine that would go over well with our audience. In fact, throughout our sites, we ask for donations to pay for hosting, etc., but donations amount to less than 1% of our operating costs.Â
I apologize for the ads, but it’s a necessary cost of keeping the site up and free to the public.

I just wanted to add a note from both of us — we truly wish Angel Messenger could exist without ads. If even a small portion of our many visitors were able to contribute a few dollars a year toward site costs, ads wouldn’t be necessary.
