Having a Rough Day

I am definitely having a rough day today.  Woke up with a headache, but it’s starting to subside a bit now.  The beep, beep, beep of the road crew is overwhelming, but the good news is that it looks like they’re getting ready to pave the other side of my road now.  There are very few days left before school starts, so I think they’re really trying to get the work finished.  Parents were not happy about all this mess at the end of last school year, and the city said it should have been done well before now, so I’m thinking they now realize people are not happy this is still going on.  I’m grouchy, that’s for sure!  🙂  Who wouldn’t be with all this noise all the time, with strangers walking all over your yard and digging the place up?  I will be extremely happy when this is all over.  For today, though, I’m having a rough time.  There’s a thunderstorm on it’s way, and I can feel it.  My head is pounding to the beat of those distant, thrumming clouds.

I have been working hard this week, though.  I’m not slacking, really.  I’ve been doing some in-depth research on things I’d like to add to my site.  You may have already noticed the new Wibiya toolbar at the bottom of all my pages.  I’m pretty excited about it.  There is a new chat feature on there where you can chat with me when I’m online.  You can even login with your Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo or Myspace account.  You can either chat with me right there in the box or send me a private chat.  It’s pretty cool.  I was on there for two hours last night.  I’m working on some other things, too, so stay tuned!  I had planned on writing a blog post today, but I’ll have to see how well I can focus and how well I’m feeling later.  For right now, this headache is finding it’s way behind my right eye.  🙁  Urg!  Okay, well, until later …
