By Their Fruits, You Will Know Them
Walking in Love When Others Can’t See Your Light
by Rev. Sheri

It’s been a revealing week.
After sharing from my heart on the intersection of faith, healing, and practices like yoga, I received a wave of responses—some loving and curious, others painfully judgmental. And as I sat with it all, I was reminded of something Jesus once said:
“By their fruits, you will know them.” (Matthew 7:16)
He didn’t say by their labels you will know them.
He didn’t say by their loud declarations, their credentials, or their ability to quote Scripture.
He said: look at the fruit.
Does a person’s life bear kindness?
Do they move through the world with compassion?
Do they heal, uplift, and bring peace?
Or do they leave behind fear, division, and pain?
These are the questions Jesus asked us to consider—not to shame others, but to call us into greater discernment and depth.
As someone who walks with Christ and honors both God the Father and the Divine Mother, my path may look unfamiliar to some. That’s okay. I wasn’t called to perform religion—I was called to embody love.
And if the fruit of my life brings healing to a hurting body …
peace to an anxious mind …
or spiritual hope to someone lost in grief …
then I know my roots are strong and my light is real.
I remember the first time I prayed for healing after Western medicine had failed me.
I was sick for months, no antibiotics helped.
And in quiet surrender, I asked God for guidance—and was led, very clearly, to oregano oil.
Not a cure from a lab, but a cure from the Earth.
Since then, I’ve never been back to the hospital for bronchitis or pneumonia.
The world might call it coincidence.
I call it Communion.
“You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden.” (Matthew 5:14)
Friend, if you’ve ever felt unseen, misunderstood, or shamed for the way you connect with the Divine—please don’t hide your light.
You were meant to shine.
Your healing journey is holy.
And your love, your presence, your devotion … is a living testimony.
Let others say what they will.
Your fruit will speak for itself. 🍇
And in time, even those who are blind may begin to see.
🌿 A Blessing for the Week Ahead
May your roots be nourished by truth.
May your heart be guarded by grace.
May your spirit remember its Source,
and may your life bloom with fruits of healing, hope, and love.
