My# 4 card was keep loving anyway. I always love everyone mostly over loving myself in the past. I was a therapist and had to remind myself of burnout. I’m so empathetic. I’ve always attracted relationships that were not healthy because I thought and continue to think I can love them past their pain. Rev Sheri I love you mentioned C-PTSD. Me and you on the same ship. I never knew love in my life but I love hard and whole heartedly. I was married to a narcissist for 12 years and almost loved him beyond it but I missed him by an inch and the dark got him. His eyes went black from a really pretty green. He said to me in a weird voice for me to come with him. Nope demon, I ain’t going nowhere with you. I was chosen to spread the light and love. Funny part was the dark side already knew I was protected but my husband wasn’t so lucky. He lost his soul.
Hi Carly,
Thank you for sharing some of your story. It sounds like you have walked through an incredible amount of loss, hardship, and pain, yet you continue to choose love. That speaks to a great deal of strength and resilience.
As someone who also lives with C-PTSD, I understand how deeply empathic people can find themselves giving and giving, hoping love will help heal the wounds of others. Learning where compassion ends and healthy boundaries begin has been one of the hardest lessons of my own journey.
I also understand what you mean when you describe being around very heavy or dark energies. Whether we understand them spiritually, emotionally, or psychologically, those energies can feel incredibly cold, draining, and overwhelming to sensitive people. I am glad you were able to recognize what was harming you and step away from it.

It explores the challenges that many caring and empathetic people face when they expend so much energy caring for others that they lose themselves in the process.
Thank you again for sharing your heart, and I wish you continued healing and peace on your journey.
With peace and grace,
Rev. Sheri
