The Compassion Challenge: Finding My Way Back to Helping Others
The Compassion Challenge:
Finding My Way Back to Helping Others
by Re, founder of Angel Messenger
The past few years have been incredibly difficult for so many of us. The world has changed in ways we never expected, and many have experienced profound loss—whether it be financial struggles, the passing of loved ones, or the deep emotional toll of uncertainty. Like so many others, I found myself feeling lost and disconnected, struggling to find my way back to a sense of purpose.
For much of my life, helping others has been at the heart of who I am. But when grief and hardship weigh heavily, even the most well-intentioned hearts can feel exhausted. I tried different ways to reconnect, even recording angel card readings to share guidance and hope. But something about it didn’t feel quite right. It felt forced, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that acts of kindness and support must come from a place of authenticity. I knew I needed to find another way—something that truly resonated with my heart.
I turned to Heaven and asked, “How can I help?” And that’s when the idea for the Compassion Challenge was born.
We are living in a world that feels more divided, uncertain, and painful than ever. So many people are grieving, struggling, or simply feeling overwhelmed. It’s easy to feel helpless, as if one person’s kindness can’t possibly make a difference. But I believe the opposite is true. I believe that compassion—true, heartfelt compassion—has the ability to heal, to uplift, and to create ripples of change.
This challenge is not just about me; it’s about all of us. It’s about taking small steps to remind ourselves and each other that kindness still exists, that hope is not lost, and that love is more powerful than fear or anger. Whether it’s reaching out to someone who is grieving, donating to a shelter, offering a kind word to a stranger, or simply being present for someone in pain—these small acts of compassion can create waves of positive change in a world that desperately needs it.
I know many people are hurting. I see you. I feel it, too. But I also believe that together, through even the smallest acts of love, we can start to heal. The Compassion Challenge is my way of stepping forward, of finding my purpose again, and of holding space for others who are also seeking light in the darkness. If you, too, are feeling lost, I invite you to join me. Let’s remind the world—and ourselves—that love and kindness are still here, and that they are still powerful beyond measure.
