It was late. I was standing at the top of my stairs, calling down to our pets that it was bedtime, when I suddenly felt a presence. A large Lion was standing to my left. He was taller than me, and undeniably powerful—yet I felt no fear. His presence radiated safety, love, peace, and support. I didn’t question it. I was so tired that I simply took comfort in the experience and went to bed, held in a blanket of divine calm.

It has been over a week since I shared an article reflecting on the relationship between yoga and Christian faith, and the wave of responses—some curious, some compassionate, many hostile—has left me both heartbroken and deeply reflective ... So, to those who claim Christ and yet meet others with scorn and superiority: this is not the way.
