Angelic Astrology – September 2017

Well, we made it through the month of August, a month of intense eclipse energies! But, we are not done with the changes initiated by these lunations quite yet, as the eclipses have an impact for the next 6 months, until the next set of eclipses that begin in January 2018.

Let’s begin our discussion with the numerology vibration of September. This month is a 19/10/1 Universal Month (2017 + 9/September = 19). The single digit vibration of the 1 is a new beginning, a new path, and a new energy….it is about taking charge, being a leader, feeling confident, and initiating something new. We are already in a 1 Universal Year, so this month of September highlights and intensifies the energy of new beginnings that we have been immersed in for this year of 2017.

The karmic number 19 is about learning to stand on your own. Challenges in moving forward will most likely have to be faced by yourself. However, those challenges are usually self-imposed and at the same time, you must realize that asking for help is ok, and can be a good thing….that you do not need to do it all by yourself. There is a need to open yourself up to the assistance from others. The 19 is about the lesson of interdependence!

The 19 is also about learning the proper use of power. So, this month of September may provide us all with lessons regarding the ego…..to realize that it is not only about us….and, that everyone is equally important in this dance we call life. If we merge the most positive qualities of the 1 and the 9, with the 1 being independent, assertive, courageous, and a leader and the 9 being interdependent, compassionate, loving, and a humanitarian, then we will move through this month projecting the best that this vibration has to offer.

The 19^th Major Arcana of the Tarot is The Sun! August was ruled by The Moon which was about the Path of Darkness. Now, as we move into September, we are illuminated by The Sun which is about the Path of Joy! In the book, “Essence of the Tarot” by Megan Skinner, she states that with the Sun “we experience an awakening – a rebirth…..The Sun symbolizes the beginning of a brand new day.”

The Sun rules how we shine our Light through our personality…..it is our true essence! Through the vibration of major arcana “The Sun,” we are illuminating our path forward by shining Light on the “darkness” of our emotional baggage from the past (the vibration of The Moon card from the month of August). We are burning through these karmic patterns and cycles of previous times and incarnations, and freeing ourselves at last! The essence and vibration of the Sun are about enthusiasm, recognition, and success! So, shine your Light as brightly and as boldly as you can, and let us all create the best that we, and this world, have to offer to others.

We start the month off with energetic Mars in Leo creating a positive connection to “wild card” Uranus in Aries on September 2^nd and connecting with Mercury retrograde on September 3^rd. This will be a time to activate brilliant ideas and forward movement towards your goals and dreams. Even though this is a positive connection, you never know what Uranus has in store, so be prepared for surprises, changes, and redirections that you were not expecting.

On September 5^th Mars moves out of Leo and into practical, analytical Virgo. He will be in this sign until October 22^nd. This is about step by step forward movement now. Pay attention to details along the way and focus on the process. Mercury, the Messenger planet, also turns back to direct motion on this day at 28 degrees Leo. Any delays in carrying out your plans can now start to dissipate over the next couple of weeks as Mercury speeds up his forward movement.

We have a Full Moon at 13 degrees of Pisces on the 6^th. The Moon is connecting with ethereal Neptune so we need to rely more on our intuitive processes rather than logic, which may prove challenging with the Sun and Mars in Virgo now. This Full Moon is about surrender, release, and trust.

Mercury moves back into Virgo, joining the Sun and Mars, on September 9^th where he will be until September 29^th. This Virgo energy supports making a plan, paying attention to the details, and analyzing each step along the way. Be practical about how to get things done. Make a list of things that need to be accomplished and check them off as you go. This will assist in creating order out of chaos.

The next astrological energy of significance will be a New Moon at 27 degrees Virgo on September 19^th/20^th depending on where in the world you are located. This lunation may have a weird energy feeling to it as it opposes Chiron, the Wounded Healer, at 26 degrees Pisces and forms a quincunx aspect to Uranus at 27 degrees Aries. The opposition to Chiron will bring wounding circumstances or healing opportunities with others, while the quincunx is asking that we make an adjustment to the idea of a new beginning of how we are feeling or expressing ourselves out in the world.

On September 19^th a fourth planet is added to the logical energy of Virgo. Venus, planet that rules finances and relationships, now enters this logical sign until October 14^th….a place where, in regards to money, she may be more comfortable than how her energies will play out in relationship matters. Venus in Virgo can make a plan regarding her finances, but in relationships she would rather be communicative, compromising, and feeling balanced. This is something that Venus in Virgo is not likely to provide for her. In this sign, she may be critical and nit-picky about how things are not to her liking. It will be best if she can seek the “perfection” in every moment and know that relationships are a work in progress.

The Sun moves into Libra on September 22^nd, breaking up the over-abundance of Virgo energies. Now, we start to move into the realm of balance and equality. The Sun will be here until October 23^rd…….a time when relationships and partnerships with others become more important in our lives.

September 28^th has interesting astrological energies. First, we experience Jupiter, planet of expansion and ruler of our belief systems, opposing Uranus, planet of freedom and ruler of Higher Dimensional Energies. We may start to see, feel, and experience what we perceive and believe in a largely different way now. Our mind is open to a broader way of thinking and new and innovative ideas start to show up in our reality. Also on this day, Pluto, planet of power and transformation, turns back to direct motion at 16 degrees of Capricorn. It has been retrograde since April 20^th but as he shifts directions we will feel an intensification of his energy, including the energies of death & rebirth, and a merging with our own spiritual power. Disempowerment energies from other people, organizations, and governments may be exposed and rising to the surface now for all to see and witness.

We end the month of September with Mercury, joining the Sun, and shifting into Libra on the 29^th. The ruler of the mental realm will be in this sign until October 17^th, bringing a more balanced way of thinking and communicating with other people in our lives. Our thoughts and ideas are more focused on peace, equality, harmony, grace, and beauty.
