Angelic Astrology – December 2014

We are now in the last month of this year 2014! Usually as we end a year, we reflect back over the months to see what we have accomplished towards our goals and how much we have grown. We contemplate what our next steps will be as we get ready to embark on a new year of energy!

We have been in a 7 Universal Year for this year of 2014 (2+0+1+4=7) which has been a more internal and receptive energy. It has been a year of soul searching and personal spiritual growth through self-reflection, meditation and asking questions of ourselves, about ourselves. Who am I to be out in the world? What is my purpose? What do I desire to manifest in my life? Which direction am I meant to go in? What is next?

This month of December is a 19/1 Universal Month vibration. With the 19/1 karmic vibration (7 Universal year + December being the 12^th month = 19) we are experiencing both endings and new beginnings as we prepare to enter a whole new type of energy in 2015.

The karmic number 19 has to do with independence and learning to stand on our own two feet as an individual, while still being open to assistance from other people and surrendering to the guidance of God-Source energies. 1’s are about new beginnings and 9’s are about endings, so you have the two energies happening simultaneously this month. New directions are being initiated while we are still releasing and letting go of what no longer serves us.

This month’s astrology also emulates this theme of endings and beginnings as the 6^th Pluto/Uranus square becomes exact. We also have Saturn, Lord of Karma and Great Teacher, leaving the depths of water sign Scorpio and entering passionate fire sign Sagittarius.

But, let’s start at the beginning of the month. On December 1^st the Moon in Aries is setting off the Pluto/Uranus square which is becoming more intense as it comes closer together into exact alignment. The Moon is about our emotional nature and, with it being in Aries, can be more reactive than usual as it squares off with Pluto, planet of big changes, and then meets up with Uranus, planet of the unexpected. The next day, on December 2^nd, the Moon continues forward and makes a difficult aspect to Mars in Capricorn continuing the theme of challenge with keeping ourselves balanced as we experience energies of impatience and frustration.

On December 4^th Venus and Jupiter, the two “benefics” (beneficial planets) of astrology are in a beautiful and harmonious aspect with one another. With Venus ruling love, money and our artistic sense, and Jupiter ruling expansion, this is a most positive expression of energy. Also on that day, the Sun in Sagittarius makes a trine to Uranus in Aries adding an element of independence and excitement! We also have Mars moving into the sign of Aquarius which will put a focus on humanitarian ideals, working with groups, and moving towards freedom energies for the rest of the month. December 5^th continues the “freedom” theme with Mercury in inspirational Sagittarius making a positive connection with rebel-rouser Uranus in Aries. This brings in creative thoughts and ideas, messages from our guides and angels, and exciting communication with others that can be the agent for changes that we would like to initiate in our lives and on our Destiny Path.

All this positive energy leads us to the Full Moon at 14 degrees Gemini on Saturday, December 6^th. Gemini is a mutable air sign that rules thinking and communication. With Mars in air sign Aquarius and Sun, Mercury and Venus all in mutable fire sign Sagittarius this should be one exciting time! The only thing holding us back is knowing what decisions and what directions have the best potential for us! We might be trying to do too many things at once or get confused with too many choices. Try to slow down and stay balanced to more clearly see what steps to take next.

On December 7^th, and moving into the early hours of December 8^th, the Sun and Mercury meet in fire sign Sagittarius. This is about expression of our truth! Sagittarius can be a little blunt so be aware, whether you are the sender or the recipient, that communication today may be raw and uncensored. Also on December 8^th we have Jupiter, planet of good fortune and our belief systems, turning to retrograde motion. Since it is in the sister fire sign of Leo, and within orb of the Sun and Mercury conjunction, this may also influence our thoughts and communications, expanding that truth-seeking energy. It can potentially expand the direct, drama energy and/or the creative, passion energy. Focus on the latter as this will be more productive for your forward movement, evolution and growth!

We have another planet changing signs on December 10^th. Venus moves out of freedom-loving Sagittarius and into conservative Capricorn. Here she is more reserved, ambitious and goal-oriented focusing on career and money matters. She will also be more conservative and steadfast in relationship matters, and less likely to take any risks as she seeks security here.

On December 12^th Mercury makes a positive connection to Jupiter which has just barely turned retrograde. Two days later the Sun follows suit and also makes a trine aspect to Jupiter. Again, this is very beneficial energy allowing for new ideas and growth with what we believe can be accomplished. This is about positive thoughts creating positive reality. Use your intentions through visualization techniques at this time to create your desired outcome!

On December 14^th-15^th, depending upon where you are in the world, we finally reach the sixth Pluto/Uranus square. The Pluto/Uranus squares began in June of 2012 and have been highlighted as the collective energy bodies that are forging change and transformation on the planet. With Pluto ruling death and rebirth, and Uranus being the energy of change, freedom and redirection, we have seen much happening in the breaking down of old societal ways, with glimmers of a new paradigm of energy being born on Earth. The energy of this sixth square has been building since the beginning of November. Even as it becomes exact by the middle of December, we will see its effects throughout the month as it continues to bring in the changing energy necessary to assist us all in the appropriate movement and evolution of our planet. Even though this is operating on a collective level, this energy also continues to bring forward movement and growth for us as individuals. We are all changing on a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level as we evolve into a Higher Dimension of energy and consciousness.

On December 16^th the Moon moves into Libra and sets off the Pluto/Uranus configuration again. This brings evolution and growth in our partnerships and how we relate to others in our lives. If we are not in the proper partnerships, or if there are challenges or imbalances that we need to face and heal within our partnerships (and ultimately within ourselves), the Pluto/Uranus energy is giving us notice that now is the time to do so. Also on this day, Mercury, planet of thoughts and communication, leaves Sagittarius behind and joins Venus in the earthy, practical sign of Capricorn. We can now become more focused with our ideas and put them into action in a way that will manifest our intentions and goals.

The theme of change and transformation within our relationships continues as Venus, planet of love, makes a challenging connection to Uranus and then Pluto on December 20^th. There is an opportunity for awareness and healing to occur with communication planet Mercury connecting with Neptune in Pisces in an understanding way, and Mars sextile Uranus bringing in a potential solution that is in everyone’s best interest.

There is a lot happening on December 21^st with Uranus in Aries coming to a standstill at 12 degrees and moving back into direct motion. Again, this is in effect all month as Uranus is an outer planet and moves very slowly. It has been at 12 degrees since November 19^th moving only a few minutes up to this present day, as it gets ready to once again move forward. This has intensified the energies of what this planet is all about……Freedom, Breaking Away, Change, Redirection, Unexpected Developments……this is highlighted for the month. Right after Uranus turns to direct motion the Sun moves into the sign of Capricorn indicating the winter solstice in the northern hemisphere and the shortest day of the year (and the summer solstice in the southern hemisphere with the longest day of the year). This is a turning point in more ways than one. Then, just about 2 ½ hours later, we have the New Moon at 0 degrees Capricorn, the very first degree of this sign. This is significant as New Moons are about new beginnings anyway, and then to be at the 0 degree point, on the same day that Uranus turns direct……get ready for some surprising developments of energy!

And, we aren’t done yet! On December 23^rd we have Saturn, the Great Teacher and ruler of Karma, moving out of Scorpio where it has been since October 2012, and into the sign of Sagittarius. While it has been in Scorpio it has been rooting out energies of dis-empowerment in our lives. It has asked us to dig down deep into our subconscious, to look at our shadow sides, find our truth, our true power and our authenticity. Saturn has asked us to look at what it is we really desire for ourselves and if we are living a life in alignment with those desires. Now it will enter Sagittarius where it will be until December 2017. It does revisit Scorpio again from June-September 2015 to give us a little more time to look at the themes ruled by this sign, but for now we can shift our attention to the Sagittarius themes it will focus on. As Saturn shifts into Sagittarius we will see themes such as the restructuring of higher education and religious institutions and organizations. We will examine the truth of all belief systems that we adhere to and understand and define what it really means to have freedom and be “free.”

We finish out the month with Mercury, ruler of the mental and logical, making different connections to Uranus and Pluto. On December 24^th he makes a challenging aspect to Uranus, bringing a change to the way we are thinking. It can also bring some surprising communications with others. He then meets up with Pluto in Capricorn later that day and moving into December 25^th. Together, these two transits with Mercury give us the opportunity to empower ourselves in some area within our lives. If we stay balanced and communicate our truth with integrity and through the energy of love, this can bring great change, healing and evolutionary growth for us. We also have two planets squaring the North and South Nodes (Destiny Points) between December 23^rd and December 26^th. Both Venus, planet of love and money, and Mercury, planet of the mind, connect with the Libra/Aries nodes which brings a karmic turning point in relationships and in how we perceive our future as we get ready to embark into the new year of energy for 2015!

I asked the angels what messages they wanted to give to everyone this month and this is the information they shared.

Archangel Raphael is with us this month. He is assisting us with the healing of the physical body, but also of the energetic body. As the Higher Vibrational energies are bathing the planet, it is affecting us down to the cellular level of our being. He is asking that we care for, and pay attention to the needs of the physical body as we go through this transitional energy.

The angels are showing that there is change and movement with regards to our goals, career, Life Path, home, family, and relationships. Stay positive and optimistic through the energy shifts and trust your inner guidance and intuition. Pay attention to signs and messages through synchronistic events from your guides and angels as they hear your intentions and prayers and are answering you in various and unique ways.

They are also asking that you realize your own power as co-creator of your life. Your thoughts, intentions and beliefs are assisting with the creation of your reality and you have the power at all times to change the way you are thinking and believing, and hence, change the outcome of your circumstances and situations. The angels are suggesting that you write down your future goals and what you desire to manifest as you move into the new year of energy. Make a vision board or write out affirmations, along with your list of intentions, as you prepare to shift into 2015.

Above all, your angels and guides wish for you to know that your prayers are being heard and answered. Be open to the best way for them to manifest into your lives. Sometimes we think we know exactly what we want, how we want it, and when we want it. But, if we just send our prayers out, and then have faith, we may receive more then we even imagined was possible. The angels are letting us know that miracles do happen and that we should expect a miracle!
