The Hand of Fatima (or Hamsa Hand) is an ancient Buddhist symbol that is believed to protect people from harm and evil. It is also believed to bring happiness, good health, luck and good fortune.

This style especially is a great piece for women's spiritual healing because the hand facing down with fingers closed together style (as this one is) has special meaning for welcoming fertility, goodness and abundance of the universe into your life.
