You’re Beautiful – Just Believe it!

from our Angel Messenger Creative Team

What will happen if a rose started comparing itself to a marigold? How will an apple feel if it desired to look like a banana? Have you ever wondered why there are so many different varieties of fruits, flowers, butterflies, trees, animals?

Isn’t it amazing how the infinite universe manifests itself in so many finite forms just to make us realize that beauty comes in all shapes, sizes, and colors!

Even though no two leaves of the same tree look the exact same, each leaf is perfection itself. How can you, even for a moment, think that you are anything but perfect?

You are a child of this Universe and you are perfect exactly the way you are. How you look and who you are on the inside is your own innate brand of beauty. There is no one else like you in the whole wide world! It seems like almost all of us knew this when we were little babies. After all, there’s not an ounce of self-loathing in a baby. The baby looks at his own body as if it were the greatest marvel that existed on the planet. If we were all that baby at some point of time in our life, then what happened? Why did we forget this deep sense of self-love and turned into our own greatest critic?

The Impact of Social Conditioning

Unfortunately, the rules of social conduct are based more on pretension than on being our authentic self. We are taught to ‘act humble’ which simply means to hold an understated view of our own self. While socially it might make us appear less threatening to others, holding an inglorious view of our own self is usually quite self-destructive.

The reason is that when we are unhappy with our own self, we also automatically become unhappy with others. On the surface, we might make ourselves likable but energetically we repel others from forming a truly deep and secure connection at the soul level.

How We See Others is a Reflection of How We See Our Own Self

There is only one absolute Truth but there are many different versions of ‘reality.’ Each person experiences a different version of ‘reality’ based on his or her level of consciousness. If you ask ten people about a certain person, everyone will share a completely different opinion with you.

None of the perspectives are real. They are all reflections of our own belief system. While forming a perspective about another person, we are not really seeing the person as he or she really is. Instead, we are seeing a reflection of our own self in that person.

If we feel that another person is full of joy and positivity, then that means we ourselves are filled with joy and positivity. If we are focusing on the shortcoming and apparent imperfections of another person, then that means we view our own self as imperfect and full of faults. Therefore, humanity begins with loving our own Self. Only when we start accepting and loving our own self unconditionally can we start practicing the same towards others.

You Have the Right to Feel Beautiful

Societal standards of beauty are so narrow that only a select few can be considered beautiful by those definitions. However, you must understand that we are all products of a capitalistic society. Unfortunately, capitalism is all about making us feel inadequate so that we can become consumers of the products that the purveyors of capitalism want to sell to us.

We are constantly bombarded with images of ideal beauty when no one in real life can look anything like the people on billboards and glossy magazine covers. In fact, the people shown on media themselves don’t look anything like their pictures. What we are viewing is a highly altered version of their body.

These unrealistic beauty standards make us feel inadequate while also turning us into perfect consumers of the beauty industry. It’s not easy but each one of us has to break the shackles of social conditioning in order to truly embrace the beauty with which nature has endowed us.

Think again – what will happen if a lily wanted to look like a rose or if a bluebell wanted to have the appearance of a chrysanthemum! Every flower is different and yet each one is incredibly beautiful in its own way just like you are perfect exactly the way you are.

Self-Empowerment Begins with Self-Love

Never feel guilty about feeling beautiful or about taking time out to take care of yourself. You deserve it!

A lot of people think (or are made to believe) that self-love turns one into a narcissist. I think that’s a terribly short-sighted and horribly misguided perspective. Loving oneself unconditionally has nothing to do with an inflated ego. Self-love makes us independent and completely fulfilled in our own self which means that we no longer depend upon others to feel good about ourselves.

This is extremely liberating as that person doesn’t enter into a relationship with demands and needs predominating the emotional climate of the shared space between two people. This allows both parties to truly be themselves and to experience a connection that is not need-based.

Move Beyond All Ideas of Inadequacies

We are spiritual beings who have incarnated into a human form to experience life on this beautiful planet. Our time here is limited. Is it really worthwhile wasting this precious time holding grudges or believing that we need something or someone outside of our own self to complete us?

When you were a baby, you were perfectly content with your own self. That little child still exists within you. You just need to awaken him or her. Only a child can enter the kingdom of heaven and this heaven also exists within you. After all, Heaven is not a place but a state of consciousness.

Immerse yourself in the beauty of your own heart and soul. Ideas of inadequacy and aspirations for an impossible idea of physical beauty can bind you only as long as you continue to identify yourself with the ego.

The soul is beyond any physical form. It vibrates with pure unconditional love. It is this love from which all physical form has been born. Love yourself completely and unconditionally because love is all there is – love is beauty and beauty is love. You are the most beautiful person in this world because you are love incarnate!

P.S. This article is the eighth in a new project we are working on called “Beauty“. Our team has decided that it is vitally important to help bring beauty into the world in whatever way we can and to help others to do the same. For now, we have several articles planned to publish on this topic but are of course open to where Spirit may lead us. We hope that you will follow our project and that it helps you.

Much Love & Angel Blessings,

I believe the woman’s comment earlier about the woman chose for the cover of this article…was honest. Maybe it could have been worded better; Along with the response givin back to her.
I love the article’s words. I believe there would be even more of an impact..if the cover photo was not a completely photo shopped picture itself. With her hair all done up with curling iron’s and so (fake) “perfect”. Bring the cover totally into the article.
I see the article covers your team created for a few of these are very creative and “beautiful”. A lot of them are photo shopped pictures.
Totally prove your point by really capturing beauty outside the illusional trickery plaid on the masses. Go way outside “the box” to prove your point.

Lisa, thank you for your comment. We appreciate your opinion, though this is the last we will comment about this topic. My staff is very small. We do not create our own pictures. We have to pay for images and do pay one company a monthly fee for access to their photo library, which is where we get our images from. I assure you that nothing disrespectful or harmful was meant by the image that was chosen. We do the best we can every single day with the little bit of resources we have to make this world a better place and have come to realize that we are not going to be able to please everybody. I’m sorry if you are offended by the image, though appreciate that you find the article beautiful enough to share with your daughter.

The point I was trying to make to Lise is that you choose what you see. Either you find the beauty, or you choose not to. There was nothing nefarious about the choice of the image. It does reflect the song I mentioned. We saw the beauty in it. The person who chose the image is not blonde, nor am I skinny. We were not trying to say that only skinny blondes are beautiful. That is a message others saw based on their own perceptions.

But why the picture of a skinny White blond person with this text? Does not match the words… 🙄🙈 😇

I guess everyone has their own thoughts on that. You might assume what you assume, though maybe the person who chose that image was meant to choose it. Maybe it was a message for someone else. Personally, it reminded me of the image on my business FB profile, so I went to look at it where I was reminded of the words on that image … “You Are Powerful! Let Go!” It was certainly a message I needed to hear, so I’m grateful that image was chosen. It also reminds me of the dress Carrie Underwood wears in the last song of the Beautiful World playlist that I created for this Beauty Project which is called “Love Wins”. Here’s a direct link to that playlist … https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLjmmHmyhlK43gKRTn51v_szpCN4dCCqvm

I think it flows nicely with the rest of the project and am truly grateful for all the efforts my hardworking staff puts into trying to make the world a better place. Blessed Be. <3
