I just wanted to say thank you to all you wonderful people who have been sending so much love and healing energy this way for Cheyenne.  The last couple of weeks have not gone as planned, and I have certainly been slacking on my blog.  Finding out my wonderful dog has cancer really took the wind out of my sails.  At first, it looked like we would loose her right away.  We took her into the Michigan State veterinary teaching hospital, and they wanted to do a treatment that would be horrible to put her through which was also very expensive.  Instead, we opted for an at home treatment which is working enough to give us all time to say goodbye.  Chey has actually had some really good days.  Her abdomen had filled with fluid, and things were not looking good, but that’s down now.  She’s lost a lot of weight, which is not good, but she’s also happy and more herself than she was before the vet visit.  She has a great appetite, and she’s rolling in the grass (and other stuff, which is her favorite thing to do).  We get some more time with her, though I know it will never be long enough.  🙁  Of course, I won’t let her suffer.  When the time comes … well, it will come.  I won’t like it, but I love her enough to let her go when I have to.

I really must say that seeing Cheyenne over the last week or so since she’s been home has been a wonderful gift for me, and I truly believe I would not have been given this time if not for all the wonderful energy being sent our way, so thank you again.  I realize that not everyone knew this was going on because most people who visit my site are not on my Facebook page, and that’s where I talked about it.  Sometimes it’s just easier to write a few sentences on Facebook than to create a whole blog post.  Sorry.  🙁  If you have a Facebook page, send me a friend request.  I love to connect with people there.  🙂

Love and Blessings,

Sheri

    Dear Rev. Sheri,

I’m so sorry to hear about Cheyenne. I am praying for her (and you & the family). At least you can spend some time with her, but I understand why you’re so sad. Blessings,

Thank you, Luc. That’s very kind of you. The comment doesn’t show me your email, but I’ve been doing some energy work on Chey. It’s a combination of Reiki and angel energy therapy. She enjoys it, and I like to think it’s helping. If nothing else, I know it helps her body accept the other treatments and tolerate them better. Our pets/babies are truly something special, huh? 🙂

So sorry about this news! it’s so sad! I will also keep you and Cheyyene in my prayers. I have a dog too and it’s my baby!
Do you know reiki? if not I could volunteer to apply some reiki to her for free. Let me know at this e-mail. (not sure if you can see it). I live in the border with Detroit, MI. I think we are close! in either case I will still send some healing energy her way!
    XOXO
