Spring Break

My son is on Spring Break this week, and I’m sort-of taking the week off.  I will still be checking emails, Facebook, and all that good stuff, but I don’t have any appointments this week.  I thought about offering additional email readings but decided against doing any readings at all.  Everyone deserves a break, right?

A week or so ago, my family went to the Great Wolf Lodge in Traverse City.  We had never been, and my son learned about its supposed “awesomeness” at school.  After much deliberation and saving of money, we went for two days.  My son loved it, so it was worth while.  However, I’m still recovering.  It is most definitely not a place of serenity and relaxation, which is a vacation I would love right now.

So, I’m not offering appointments this week, and I’m pretty sure my son has our whole week planned already.  We were supposed to walk to the park at least two days, but the weather man is predicting rain just about every day.  I’m sure we will find an alternative idea.  Never fear when a seven year old is making a list of things to do.  Spring Break could be six weeks long, and we still would not reach the bottom of said list.  🙂

As I said, I’ll be checking in here and there.  I’ll also be writing a new “Ask Sheri” post soon.  Otherwise, until next week …
