Calling all quality professional psychics! Even on my very best day, there is no way that I can meet the need for readers, healers and other professional spiritualists on my site. Five thousand people visited my site yesterday alone!

When I first started Angel Messenger, it was with the goal of creating my own center. With the downfall of our economy, it became impractical to rent a building and try this on my own. So, with the help of my guides and angels, I kept working on creating a website that could offer as much help as possible. The only problem now is that it has gotten too big, and it’s time to revisit my original goal.

Although it is still impractical to create a physical center for spiritual growth, I feel it’s an excellent idea to create such a space online in an environment that has already proven to be popular and useful to website visitors. So, I am looking for quality psychics, healers and spiritual professionals who may be interested in offering their services at Angel Messenger. I have not worked out all the details yet, so I am not even accepting applicants at this time. This post is more to put some feelers out there to see what the feedback might be.

My plan is to hire a few individuals to help me meet the needs of visitors to my site. Being that these are my clients and people that put their trust in me, the application process will not be easy. I like the way that Psychic Access interviews and tests their psychics, and those wanting to work with Angel Messenger will go through a similar process. Though I have many friends who offer these types of services, I cannot simply hire my friends. That would interfere with the integrity of what I’m doing here. Applicants will be interviewed by myself and tested by my clients. Applicants will also have to show a proven record of being a successful professional psychic, etc., with at least five years of experience.

The readings offered would work differently than what Psychic Access does. I do not like per minute readings for several reasons. For one, they tend to be more expensive for clients. For practitioners, it can be time consuming waiting around to see if someone calls, and most prefer scheduled appointments. What I am putting together will be scheduled appointments. Practitioners can offer days and times they wish to offer appointments at Angel Messenger. Clients will be able to schedule appointments up to three weeks in advance but no sooner than three days in advance. That means practitioners can get on with their regular schedule, and no one will be required a set number of hours a week. If you can only offer appointments on Angel Messenger every other Tuesday evening, I can work with that.

It all started with a sore throat …

It all started with a sore throat the end of December. By New Year’s Eve, I was visiting an Urgent Care facility needing antibiotics, and I’ve been sick ever since. I have been very ill for about a month now with a severe respiratory virus. It’s something that has been hitting many families in this area. Both my husband and son had it but were over it within a week. It hit me much worse, and I’ve actually been in the hospital for it. The illness makes it difficult to breathe, much less talk.

Unfortunately, I am not able to offer readings right now, and I’m not sure when I will be able to. Although I feel terribly that I am not able to help others at this time, I am in no shape to be helping anyone right now. I can barely speak a full sentence without going into a coughing fit. Even if I could talk, I’m taking several different medications which make it nearly impossible to be a clear channel for a reading. I’ve had tons of people emailing me and sending me messages on Facebook about wanting readings, but I have to take care of myself right now.

This illness has instigated tremendous spiritual growth for me, and I’ve come to realize that I haven’t been taking care of myself in the ways I should be for quite some time now. I have dedicated myself to helping others at the expense of my own health and well being. Every time I would start to feel better, my first thought was that I needed to get back to work. People were counting on me, and I was letting them down. Then, I would immediately get worse.

I had a dream last week that I went to my dentist for a regular cleaning appointment and starting coughing up worms. The coughing became so violent that I actually began to vomit the worms and tried reaching my own hand down my throat to pull them out. The dentist was rubbing my back and telling me that I have to get it all out. Ironically, my regular dental checkup is one of the many appointments and plans I’ve had to cancel due to this illness. This dream is something I’ve taken a lot of time to ponder.

I am working on a way to offer more ways to help more people through the work I do on my site, but it is going to take some time to implement all the plans I have in my head. Please understand that I do sincerely care, and I want to offer assistance where it is needed, but there are going to be some big changes ahead for myself and for my work.

It has taken me some time to understand this is an important message from my Heavenly guides and angels. I’m at a crossroads in my life right now. What might have started with a sore throat has made me open my eyes to the next phase of my life.

Where’s Rev. Sheri?

I’m here! I’ve seen the emails in my inbox and the messages on Facebook. People are wondering where I’ve gone off to, but I haven’t gotten lost. I’ve just been really sick. Today is the first day that I’ve been able to function in a while, and it’s taking a lot of concentration.

It was a great party going into Urgent Care the first time on New Year’s Eve. I was told I had a viral bronchitis, and they gave me some enormous pills to help reduce the swelling in my throat and ears and sent me home. I told them I had an ear infection, but they disagreed with me. So, on Monday, I was back in Urgent Care, white as a sheet (Seriously, I didn’t fully appreciate that saying until looking in the mirror that morning.). The doctor I saw that day promptly gave me two shots. She sent me home with antibiotics … guess it wasn’t viral after all. ;( Anyway, I’m getting over it, but I’m still weak, get out of breath quite easily and can’t hear very well.

As I was beginning to get sick, I tried to keep up on emails and website updates, but my website was not cooperating. As you may know from my earlier posts, we recently upgraded to a new hosting company and hosting service that will better accommodate the needs of this high traffic site. That change over did not go smoothly at all.

Once we had the site changed over, it seemed everything was going to be okay, but then the site started going down. I wasn’t receiving my emails, the e-cards stopped working, and we had a mess on our hands with struggling to get the site back up. I even wrote two posts in my blog trying to answer some of the common questions I had seen finally come through my email and to explain what was going on, but both posts were deleted from the server because the memory couldn’t hold onto them.

Now, it seems like the site is good to go and will remain up and running. I have a ton of emails to go through as well. The e-cards are working, and I plan on adding new ones now that the holidays are over, but that will have to happen after I’m done responding to all my emails.

I may opt to write another post answering some of the most common questions and then direct people to that post in an email, instead of writing the same thing over and over. So, if you are waiting to hear back from me, please understand that I am not ignoring you. I will write you back as soon as I can. For right now, I’m exhausted and not feeling so great, but I am here. I just have bronchitis, a double ear infection, pink eye and some kind of flu. I hope you all had a better new year than me.

Back in the Office … sort of

Okay, so I’m sort of back in the office now. Last week was really crazy with being at the hospital every day and not knowing what to expect. Being that I do what I do, hospitals are not very easy places for me to visit. It was especially difficult to go into my mom-in-law’s room and see people and energies that I was not ready to see in there. I knew they were there to give her strength, but they could have just as easily have been there to take her home. They told me they would help her fight as long as she is willing – and as long as her body is able.

On Wednesday, we were basically told to expect the worst. On Thursday, we went in to find that Mom was sort-of alert. She asked me what was going on. I tried to tell her what the doctors were hoping to do, but I wasn’t sure if she even understood who I was. Then a priest came in, and, within about a half an hour later, Mom was alert and having some serious discussions with us and the doctors. She hadn’t realized how serious her condition had become. Knowing was unsettling to her, but she wanted to know all her options. She told us that she wasn’t ready to leave and wanted to continue fighting.

I had been strong all week long … strong for my husband and strong for our 8 year old son. But, when Mom took my hand and promised that she wasn’t going to die on my birthday, all my strength went out the window. I burst into tears. It was more than I could handle at that moment. Going from such dire circumstances the day before to seeing her in right that moment was like seeing your loved one come back to life. It’s difficult to explain.

Mom is being treated with an experimental drug that may or may not work, and we may not know if it’s going to work for several weeks – if her body can hold on that long (which we pray it does). Though I will be working, it is possible my schedule will be disrupted, and sessions may have to be cancelled or rescheduled. I don’t want to not offer services, so I am offering them with the understanding that appointments may have to be changed.

Just FYI, for those of you who are local to Williamston, Michigan, I am offering a meditation at my home office next Tuesday morning at 10am. If you’re interested, there are a few spots left. Just visit the scheduling page and click on workshops when the calendar comes up.

I hope to write more as the week goes on, but I’m just going with the flow as they say for now.

Out of Office

I have been out of the office for the last couple of days and plan to be out for the next several days as well. My mother-in-law is in critical care in the hospital, so I have been there with her and my family. I will respond to emails, etc as soon as I can. Please understand that my response time will be much longer than usual.

Goings On, In-person Sessions and Workshops

I know I haven’t been online much lately, but I have been quite busy. I always get frustrated with myself when I don’t get to write in my blog or interact with people on Facebook as much as I’d like to because I feel like that’s how I reach the most people, but sometimes things just don’t work out the way I think they should. Then again, that’s doesn’t necessarily mean things aren’t the way they should be, right?

I haven’t been working as much in the afternoons because my house has become the “go to” destination for after school social activities for the neighborhood children. It’s great, though. I love kids, but I don’t get as much work done after school as I used to.

My mother-in-law has been in the hospital for over two weeks now as well. I know some of my friends online have been sending prayers her way, and I sincerely appreciate that. The power of prayer can be a miraculous thing. We’ve been visiting mom as much as we can, but the hospital is a good distance from our house. She’s not in critical care anymore, so the prayers are working, but there’s still much debate over how to treat her condition.

Though life is always busy, I’m still working on my life’s work. My schedule is slowing down a little bit from the initial influx of all the people who were waiting for sessions. So, if you’ve been trying to schedule, now might be a good time to check out the open appointments.

I have a new scheduling system now, too. I’m using Bookeo, which is giving me more options than my old scheduling company, and I should even be able to offer gift vouchers for the holiday season.

Speaking of appointments, I am now offering in-person appointments on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. But, there is a catch … you have to be approved for in-person appointments before scheduling. I’m really not trying to make things complicated. It’s just that my office is in my home, and I need to be careful about letting just anyone have my address or posting it on the internet. With this new program, you actually have to enter a password in order to schedule. If you have been to an in-person session with me in the past year, you are probably already on my list of allowed visitors. I’m in the process of updating that list now. Once I’m finished, you should receive an email letting you know you can schedule. But, if you don’t want to wait, or you are new and would like to be added to my list, please fill out this form. Once you are added to my list for in-person appointments, you will be sent a password that allows you to schedule online.

There are two workshops coming up in November as well. I’m always saying that my primary goal is to help others connect with the other side on their own, and these workshops do just that. The first is a meditation workshop on Tuesday morning, Nov. 15th, where you can meet with me at my home for a meditation and conversation. The second workshop is an Introduction to Mandalas. The Mandala workshop is scheduled for Thursday evening, Nov. 17th. If you are local to the area, it would be great to have you join a class and meet with me in my home. Telephone & Inperson Readings

As you may or may not be aware, I have been unable to offer one on one sessions for the past month or so due to a city construction project. My street is incredibly noisy during the day, making it impossible for me to do readings or healing sessions at this time. The city is replacing gas and water lines and resurfacing the street. I was only given a few days notice of the project, and work is expected to go into August. I did receive a notice recently that they may finish early, but we have also had a lot of rain, which I’m sure pushes the project back a bit. Personally, I have been really struggling with migraine headaches this summer, and that makes getting work done a bit more difficult as well.

While I am unable to offer individual sessions, I am offering more email readings per week. Though, the readings I put online yesterday sold out within a few hours. I am also working on a few projects that I hope to have online in the future.

If you are looking for a good reading in the meantime, I have had good readings through Psychic Access. Thus far, I have found them to be a reputable company who actually checks out the psychics they display on their site, and I have had two good readings there myself.

The trial email readings were a success! Everyone has really been enjoying them, and they are easier to fit into my schedule than adding more appointments. I plan to continue offering email readings but do not have time to create a new page in my website right now, so I’m using my blog to post the info for now. Like with the trial, I will only offer a set number of email readings per week. Once they have been purchased, they will be “out of stock” until I add more to the inventory for the button below.

My plan is to add readings to my inventory on Sunday or Monday, and respond to those purchases by that following Friday. Readings will be responded to in the order they were purchased. These email readings take an average of a half hour each to complete. I have decided to keep the price of $25 for now to account for my time and energy, but I am not sure that will be a permanent price.
