I know I haven’t been online much lately, but I have been quite busy. I always get frustrated with myself when I don’t get to write in my blog or interact with people on Facebook as much as I’d like to because I feel like that’s how I reach the most people, but sometimes things just don’t work out the way I think they should. Then again, that’s doesn’t necessarily mean things aren’t the way they should be, right?

I haven’t been working as much in the afternoons because my house has become the “go to” destination for after school social activities for the neighborhood children. It’s great, though. I love kids, but I don’t get as much work done after school as I used to.

My mother-in-law has been in the hospital for over two weeks now as well. I know some of my friends online have been sending prayers her way, and I sincerely appreciate that. The power of prayer can be a miraculous thing. We’ve been visiting mom as much as we can, but the hospital is a good distance from our house. She’s not in critical care anymore, so the prayers are working, but there’s still much debate over how to treat her condition.

Though life is always busy, I’m still working on my life’s work. My schedule is slowing down a little bit from the initial influx of all the people who were waiting for sessions. So, if you’ve been trying to schedule, now might be a good time to check out the open appointments.

I have a new scheduling system now, too. I’m using Bookeo, which is giving me more options than my old scheduling company, and I should even be able to offer gift vouchers for the holiday season.

Speaking of appointments, I am now offering in-person appointments on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. But, there is a catch … you have to be approved for in-person appointments before scheduling. I’m really not trying to make things complicated. It’s just that my office is in my home, and I need to be careful about letting just anyone have my address or posting it on the internet. With this new program, you actually have to enter a password in order to schedule. If you have been to an in-person session with me in the past year, you are probably already on my list of allowed visitors. I’m in the process of updating that list now. Once I’m finished, you should receive an email letting you know you can schedule. But, if you don’t want to wait, or you are new and would like to be added to my list, please fill out this form. Once you are added to my list for in-person appointments, you will be sent a password that allows you to schedule online.

There are two workshops coming up in November as well. I’m always saying that my primary goal is to help others connect with the other side on their own, and these workshops do just that. The first is a meditation workshop on Tuesday morning, Nov. 15th, where you can meet with me at my home for a meditation and conversation. The second workshop is an Introduction to Mandalas. The Mandala workshop is scheduled for Thursday evening, Nov. 17th. If you are local to the area, it would be great to have you join a class and meet with me in my home. Interesting Meditation

My morning meditation was very interesting this morning. I bought a new “Guided Journeying” meditation CD by Colleen Deatsman over the weekend. I was at a festival where Colleen gave an informal lecture on an Introduction to Shamanism. It was a good and informative talk that my husband, son and I all enjoyed. Part of the talk included one of the meditations on the CD, and my son especially enjoyed that part, so we bought the it.

Previously, in my personal meditations, I hadn’t really worked with many animal guides. Now that I think about it, though, that’s maybe a bit odd since I have such a love for animals. Anyway, the interesting thing about this morning’s meditation is that I think I had a visit with my so very much missed Cheyenne, but she wasn’t a dog. I know our loved ones can take different forms in our dreams and meditations, and I think she did this knowing I would probably become upset at seeing her true form.

My son has had several dreams where Cheyenne has visited him, but I’ve had nothing, and frankly I was getting a bit jealous. I mean, she was my baby! But, as we know, our emotions can hinder spiritual contact, and my emotions where she is concerned are still a bit raw.

So, here’s what happened … When I did the meditation at the festival, the first animal guide who met me was a rabbit, so I expected to see the rabbit – which I did. However, I could sense another presence, too. Part of me wanted to just go along with the rabbit, but my curiosity kept my mind open. I saw something black, and then a long tail came into view. It was a cat’s tail but too thick to be a domestic cat and too small to be a big cat. As the figure came into view, I realized it was a baby panther. Right away, I noticed the edges of the panther were fuzzy which I thought was odd, but I went along with it. At the festival, one of my guides was a shapeshifter, so I kept my mind open without expectations. The panther was playful and jumped up on me exactly like Cheyenne used to do. Even the way the animal turned it’s head back to look at me reminds me of my beautiful girl. The panther did it’s job and led me where I needed to go. Then I met my next guide and the meditation continued.

The oddest and maybe ironic part of all this was that I didn’t even think about Cheyenne during the meditation. I was completely consumed by the “panther”. It wasn’t until I came back to myself and opened my eyes that my brain caught up to itself and just about leapt out of my head. I can’t wait to go back and find out for sure whether or not the panther was really Cheyenne. Was that why the edges of the panther were fuzzy? Because it wasn’t really a panther? Anyone who knows me at all knows I love cats, especially big cats, and the panther is definitely my favorite! The size and shape of the panther was quite close to hers as well. Very interesting for sure!!!

I’ve seen several questions come through regarding old relationships. Over the past few weeks, we have been going through some planetary changes which are helping to align us with our higher selves. Telephone & Inperson Readings

As you may or may not be aware, I have been unable to offer one on one sessions for the past month or so due to a city construction project. My street is incredibly noisy during the day, making it impossible for me to do readings or healing sessions at this time. The city is replacing gas and water lines and resurfacing the street. I was only given a few days notice of the project, and work is expected to go into August. I did receive a notice recently that they may finish early, but we have also had a lot of rain, which I’m sure pushes the project back a bit. Personally, I have been really struggling with migraine headaches this summer, and that makes getting work done a bit more difficult as well.

While I am unable to offer individual sessions, I am offering more email readings per week. Though, the readings I put online yesterday sold out within a few hours. I am also working on a few projects that I hope to have online in the future.

If you are looking for a good reading in the meantime, I have had good readings through Psychic Access. Thus far, I have found them to be a reputable company who actually checks out the psychics they display on their site, and I have had two good readings there myself.

Ask Sheri – God’s Vengeance

“Dear Rev. Sheri,

In church this morning, some people were talking about what happened in Japan as God’s vengeance. I don’t know how I feel about that. I mean, is God really so cruel?” – Christina

Dear Christina,

I think I must have seen your question mere moments after you submitted it. I had another question picked out to answer today, but it’s become more than obvious to me that I’m meant to answer this one. I was looking at video of the devastation on YouTube and couldn’t believe some of the comments I was seeing saying this exact type of thing. What do they mean by God’s Vengeance? Do they mean the bombing of Pearl Harbor in WWII? I’m pretty sure the U.S. itself dished out enough “vengeance” on that one. I do not see anything good about what happened then, and I don’t see good in what’s happening now.

My energy is maybe more connected to these natural disasters than the average person. My first experience happened back in December of 2004, the tsunami that hit the Indian Ocean. I woke up from a horrible nightmare that had me running for the bathroom as nausea overwhelmed my senses. I could only remember bits and pieces of the dream, but it was one of my very real ones that always scare me half to death.

There was a hotel with tall white pillars, a beach, palm trees, and high waves coming toward the land. I ran into the water trying to tell everyone to run, but no one would listen to me. It was like I was the only one seeing the danger. I was screaming and tried to grab a little girl out of the water, but I couldn’t. I realized no one could see me, like I was a ghost. I screamed and cried as the waves hit, and that’s when I woke up. I had no idea it had actually happened.

All day, I felt like something horrible was going to happen to someone I loved. I called all of our family members to make sure everyone was okay. Later, we drove across town to my husband’s family to celebrate my mother-in-law’s birthday. The whole drive there, I felt like I was on the verge of a panic and had to repeatedly calm myself. I had never felt anything like that before and didn’t understand what was happening.

At some point, someone turned on the television. The news came on with pictures of the devastation caused by the tsunami. Until then, I had no idea what had happened. Scene after scene of the devastation hit me like nothing I could possibly explain. I saw the hotel with the tall white pillars, the beach and palm trees and so many victims. Seeing the people that were in my dream, now lifeless. Children. It was too much. Even now, I can barely type this. It’s still so horrible. I felt their fear. I didn’t understand it all then, but what I had felt earlier was my connection the higher realms. I believe I felt God’s sadness, Heaven’s reaction to what happened. I could never believe, even for one second, that our Creator – the energies that love us so unconditionally – would ever cause such horrific events or punish us in such a way.

My first experience with these events being termed “God’s Vengeance” came about with Katrina hitting New Orleans. Shortly after that happened, I attended a wedding where I met one of the most ignorant people I have ever met. Yes, you read that right. I’m still human, and I get angry. The man my husband I were sitting next to started talking about the hurricane and how those people deserved to die. According to this man, New Orleans was being punished for its sins … psychics in particular. Well, as you can imagine, I didn’t take this very well. Normally, I tend to be an understanding person, respectful of each individual for where they are in their personal growth and their own spiritual journey. But, in this case, I wanted to slap this man. I know I shouldn’t have felt that way, and I’m ashamed to admit it, but I couldn’t believe someone could think such a thing, much less say it out loud to a stranger. He was such a hateful person. I didn’t cause any harm to him, but I did leave him standing there looking like the ignorant fool he was – again, I acknowledge my human emotions here. I was sick, and we left shortly thereafter.

I have been steadily praying for all those touched by the horrific events caused by the changes to our environment and how our planet is reacting to these changes. These changes will affect us all, and we should – as human beings – feel connected and empathic toward those experiencing the worst of it. From the floods in Australia to the recently devastated Japan, these are our people! They are all human beings and connected to us all!

How do I know God isn’t punishing these people? Because I felt what Heaven felt with the destruction caused by the Indian Ocean and because I still feel the great sadness that reaches across the ocean now. I know people have all kinds of Bible verses and messages from other religious books backing up their opinions on what they feel is “God’s wrath”, but I will never believe it. Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs, and I do not intend to offend anyone for their personal beliefs and do respect everyone on their own personal journey. However, with respect to this question, I’m giving my answer.

I have never once experienced the hatefulness of such human comments from the spirit world. The energy I feel from the Divine has always come from a place of love and compassion. Our creator – God, the Goddess, Allah, however you prefer – has never given me any reason to believe such things would be caused by Divine influence.

Christina, you should be commended on seeing through what other people see and thinking for yourself. Religion can be a very good thing, but we have to remember that it’s also made up of people, and people are not infallable. People are afraid of what might happen to them, so they make up reasons of why these tragedies happened elsewhere. “Those people deserved it, but that will never happen here.” Fear breeds ignorance, and ignorance breeds more fear.

Instead of giving in to ignorance, fear and even the anger that I still obviously struggle with, we should be focusing on love and compassion and what we can do to help heal our world. Send love and compassion to those affected. Give financially, if you can. Pray for them. Meditate and ask Heaven to send angels in for aid.

Lately, I’ve been doing my Chakra Healing with the Angels Meditation more because of the end section where the energy you work with in the meditation is sent out through the world and our universe. I use this meditation to help me channel Divine healing energy out to those places needing extra help right now. I encourage anyone reading this to do the same or at least send out some positive thoughts to our brothers and sisters across the world. Light a candle for those who have been lost and those that remain behind. Use the flickering of your single flame to add to the others sending out their own love and prayers. Whether you are in Europe, Australia, Japan, the United States or Timbuktu, we are all the same people. We are one!

In my recent post regarding teen suicides in my area, I talked about Light and Darkness. I believe we all have Light and Darkness within us, but we choose what side to take. We choose who we are. Will we give in to Darkness with our ignorance and hate, or will be embrace the Light with love and compassion? We all have that choice. That is what God gives us … choice — free will. We have the choice to create our own destruction, or we can create a world where one people stand together.

Ads on my site are not in any way affiliated with Angel Messenger. This morning, someone contacted me about a woman named Gabriella, the psychic, who she purchased a reading from through an ad on my site. Gabriella is a scam. When I did a Google search on her name, I found all sorts of complaints and accusations of fraud. If you have considered getting a reading with this woman, please don’t. It sounds like she is very much like Tara-Medium, which is a site I spoke out against earlier this year. These people are frauds. There is a massive number of fraudulent psychics out there that create websites like this that all seem to send out computer generated readings. Once a website name receives so much bad press that it’s no longer successful, they delete the site and create a new one under a different name. I always tell people to make sure you know who you’re getting a reading from. I know that not all people find me through word of mouth, but it’s the best way to find an accurate psychic. Knowing someone else who has paid money for services rendered and been pleased with the results is the best way to make sure you’re not being scammed. If you’ve never had a reading with me and this makes you think you should find a referral elsewhere, I would rather have you do that than chance being scammed like the woman who contacted me this morning. It truly breaks my heart to have such a thing happen.

The advertisements on my website come from two sources as follows:

1. Ads from Amazon.com – I love Amazon and think it’s a great place to purchase products. You do have to watch as some prices can get outrageous, but most things sell for less on Amazon, and you can get free shipping. My website receives a very small contribution from Amazon for people who purchase items through my links.

2. Ads from Google – This is the main support system for my website. Google chooses ads based on the content of my site and other factors. I do not always see all the ads, and the advertisers are in no way affiliated with Angel Messenger. I can and have blocked certain advertisers from the ability of advertising with my site. If you see an ad on my site, please do not believe that I personally am trying to sell you the particular product or service. If I want to promote a product or service that I have personally found useful, I will specifically say so in my blog. However, no advertisements on my website have anything to do with me personally. These pay-per-click advertisements are used by many websites. My website is compensated a small fee for every single ad clicked on. (Please, don’t go and click on a bunch of ads to help support me. While I appreciate that, it will just get your computer blocked from future clicks.)

In the past, I’ve had people contact me and ask me things like what time their appointment is scheduled for when they never scheduled a session with me. It was with an advertiser they clicked on and couldn’t remember who it was. Or, they purchased an astrology chart from my site, but I don’t sell astrology charts.

Remember, the internet is the internet. Anyone can publish whatever they want on this thing. I use Google ads not only because they help support my site, but the ads can also provide you access to some other great websites with helpful information. Please, when using my site, understand that advertisers are not affiliated with me or with Angel Messenger. If you purchase a reading with someone, you need to know who you’re scheduling it with and beware what kind of person they are. Do a Google search on their name.

Here are a few warning signs of a psychic scam …

1. Testimonials on the site are general at best. (Even if they provide pictures of clients, pictures can be found anywhere and usually are. Most real psychics do not keep track of client personal information, and they especially don’t take the time to take photos of their clients.)

2. Website claims are ridiculous (ie. helping you win the lottery or making someone fall in love with you – There is so much wrong with these statements, I don’t even know where to begin!)

3. When you do a Google search on the website, all sorts of complaints come up.

4. Bold press testimonials with no source (or one you’ve never heard of even after doing a Google search)

Above all, use the internet with care. Anyone can advertise just about anywhere. They don’t need to be good at what they do and certainly don’t have to have your best interest at heart. The only psychic, medium, spiritual intuitive or otherwise you will find on my site that I personally know and can account for proper intentions is myself. Any person advertising on my site through Google is not affiliated with or backed by myself or my site. While I appreciate that my readers click on ads and help support Angel Messenger, I do not in any way want any of you to be taken advantage of. If you ever come across an advertiser on my site that seems fraudulent or even questionable, please let me know. I will block any site that needs to be blocked. Thank you.

“I am at a crossroad. I feel I am being nudged but I just cant make a choice. Everything seems to be up in the air. I’m tired of making the same mistakes, but afraid not to. Thank you.”

It surprises me that you keep following the same road because you would do very well with change. The first thing I need to tell you is not to be afraid of change. Things would work out much better for you, even with the smallest of changes. Your energy has become stagnant, and I can see how the same circumstances would repeat themselves over and over. You don’t seem to be moving forward but rather stuck in a loop. The only way to change the pattern is to deviate from your current path. Do something positive that is completely out of the ordinary for you.

You are currently in a year that can bring you financial success, or at least stability, but it’s not as likely to happen with the way your energy currently feels. I would like to suggest that you also work on balancing your chakras. I have a free Chakra Healing with the Angels meditation you can download. I would also suggest walking or yoga as both are wonderful meditative exercises that help us to clear our minds of clutter while energizing our bodies.

Being born on the fifth of a month means that you should adapt to changes well, but it can also leave you in chaos sometimes. The energy of any given number has a positive and not so positive side. The energy your number vibrates to depends on the condition of your energy. It sounds to me like you might be dancing on the chaos side right now, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get back to where you need to be.

You are being nudged, my dear. You’re being nudged in a direction that is different – probably outside your comfort zone. I would like to encourage you to reach out … reach outside of yourself a bit. Your current path hasn’t gotten you to where you desire to be. You need change. You need some excitement in your life, too! So, yes, change it up!

Hello,

Today I’d like to wrap up our spirit guide manual with a list of important and commonly asked questions about the subject. The spirit guide is a powerful innate tool we all have, but it’s important to take into consideration exactly what we mean by spirit guide to ensure you are in direct communication with your true inner self.

Q: Is a spirit guide an internal force or an external one?

A: In order to answer this question, we must first address the concept of the internal vs. external universe. Have you ever had a dream about something and had it come true? Have you ever read someone’s thoughts when they were not even around? Psychic ability is just one demonstrable example of a force of nature and consciousness that blurs the line between the subjective internal reality of consciousness and the external objective and quantifiable reality of the world around us. The Spirit guide is a subconscious link between the two that can manifest information that is both internally quantifiable, and a limited amount of information that is externally quantifiable.

Q: What is the difference between a spirit guide and a “helpful ghost?”

A: Some people like to leave subjects such as this as undefined, and say it doesn’t matter, but we believe it does. The spirit guide as it is defined in our entrainment system is inherently internal, and helps those who need help defining those things in life that aren’t always obvious. The spirit guide is a force of internal understanding that will provide advice that is true to your greater goals in life, or help you acquire knowledge regarding them. A “ghost” is an external force and a consciousness beyond your own that may attempt to make contact with you, but will only be able to provide insight based on its own experiences. Also, a spirit guide will never attempt to advise you in a way that is not beneficial to you reaching your ultimate “bliss” or “true will.”

Q: How do I know when I’m speaking to a spirit guide, as opposed to merely a compartmentalized area of my own consciousness or a “helpful ghost?”

A: That’s where the entrainment therapy comes in. The conscious mind is filled with “faux” spirit guides who will sound helpful, but will ultimately not be as wise as the deepest spiritual sectors of your soul or “heart.” The conscious mind is constantly blocking these impulses with short term gains in mind, but unfortunately it’s difficult to get a hold of the long-term consciousness transformation required to truly make this beneficial. Fortunately, studies have shown that the spiritual mindset is largely manifest when the mind enters a very specific Mid-Theta frequency where the external world becomes strongly blocked off, and the focus of the mind naturally moves within the subject. Trying to map out the brain with visual foci is like trying to map the exact location of Earth relative to Mars with a stop watch. They are largely incompatible, which means it’s difficult to describe exactly. What we do know, however, is that this specific Mid-Theta mental frequency is precisely where people go when they are engaged in ancient rituals ( with universal regularity, regardless of cultural background) where they make contact with their spirit guide. It has been shown with such consistency, that when the entrainment therapy is utilized, the mind naturally moves to this position and opens you up for internal contact with the spirit guide. Psychics who report contact with ghosts, on the other hand, use a vastly different frequency to tune in to the external forces. Q: Is there anything else I should do to make sure I maintain a relationship with my spirit guide?

Surprisingly very little ritual has been found to be necessary in order to contact the spirit guide when using entrainment therapy. Today I’d like to take a look at how to communicate with your spirit guide. First, it’s important to understand that these entities are (as we’ve established) a part of you. The dedicated part of your mind that filters out your consciousness and the deeper understanding of the world around you is required for applicable purposes of day to day living and a world filled with symbols. Once you’ve made contact with the spirit guide, however, you can begin to understand different avenues of communication with this helpful guide.

First, dreams are a very important place for spiritual communication to take place. When you sleep your mind enters a state where communication of all parts of the consciousness takes place. Often the dreams are nonsensical or deeply symbolic. Your spirit guide’s presence in a dream, however, is something important to keep an eye on. If you see them while dreaming, pay careful attention to what they say and you’ll soon be one step closer to understanding the path you must take. While dreams may be the most guaranteed place to see the spirit guide, many people don’t remember their dreams and that makes this level of communication difficult. For these people, it may behoove them to examine the possibility of deep meditation initiating guided spirit journeys. Sit in a comfortable meditative position and imagine yourself traveling to a world created in the image of your current state of mind. Open your mind up to possibilities and allow images to come naturally to you. Your spirit guide will appear, and you can communicate with him/her then.

A third method is with the “third eye” method. When we were talking about Shamanism, I mentioned the third eye, and its ability to discover things outside of the normal five senses that our mind perceived. With the third eye, you can make contact with your spirit guide and communicate with them. There’s no need to talk aloud during these encounters, as the spirit guide can read your thoughts and communicate directly with them. This final method is the most advanced and useful, as the spirit guide will be able to appear to you during times when you need it to. Trust your spirit guide and open your mind to the concept of it showing up to help you when you need it. Then, you will gain the most benefit from your relationship with it. The most important thing is to listen to it.

The less you listen to it the less your mind will see it as a tool for spiritual development and attempt to make contact. For every success the spirit has, however, in helping you along your journey, there will be more and more connections tying you to it. Though you’ll always have a relationship with your spirit guide, even long before you make mental contact with it, you can always cut yourself off from it if you don’t want it to be part of your life simply by symbolically telling it to leave you alone for a while. Of course this isn’t recommended, as the spirit guide is an integral part of our lives whether it manifests as a spiritual entity or guides us through a series of “gut feelings,” or intuition.
