No, unfortunately, JJ has not returned. I had a feeling he was going somewhere when he left. He looked at me with an odd look and just took off. It was the weirdest thing. I can only think that maybe he was needed somewhere else. We saved him from the cold through last winter, and maybe that's all he needed us for. I don't know for sure. My little guy is doing much better with it now, but it's still a painful topic. He will get another kitten eventually, I'm sure. We have three cats in the house right now, but they aren't exactly kittens anymore. JJ was his little buddy. :(

I'm glad you're enjoying the site. Thank you for writing. I definitely believe kitties to be guardian angels!

Hi Sheri,

Just wondered whether the kitty JJ ever came home? JJ are my initials too, so I feel for the kitty (and your son) :-/ I had two kitties when I was his age and I swear they were my guardian angels-- I don't know what I would have done without them!

Thank you for this site. It has been a great resource for me if ever in doubt!
