“I’ve been getting the simplify your life card a lot recently, mostly in the “possible block” position and mostly when I ask about a certain relationship. To be quite honest, I don’t know how to interpret this or what this card means in my situation. I’m not a hoarder of old stuff, I keep my home orderly etc. Is there another way of interpreting this card or what would this refer to?”
This is a great question, and I love the decks used in the online readings. However, I wish I had the ability to add my own comments online, too. The “Simplify Your Life” card is from Doreen Virtue’s Magical Mermaids and Dolphins Oracle Cards
“… This means clearing your home of unnecessary items, cancelling subscriptions…, saying no to demands on your time, getting organized and being more efficient with respect to your schedule…”
With respect to your question, this card may mean something a little more along the lines of emotional clutter and external influences.
Emotional clutter can be thoughts or feelings that prevent us from moving forward with a relationship. For example, a recently divorced person (or even one divorced for years) may inadvertently be holding onto fear or other negative expectations. This emotional clutter needs to be cleared away before they can move on.
Are there external circumstances that affect your relationship with this person? Sometimes, clutter can refer to other people or circumstances that need to be cleared away or given less power over our relationships. For example, does someone have a meddling mother or a job that’s taking over every aspect of life? That most definitely qualifies as clutter! 
For me to give more details about your specific situation and how to clear away your particular brand of clutter, I would probably have to do a one on one reading for you. However, I hope that looking at the “Simplify Your Life” card in this new way will help you figure out what the card means for you.
