“Hello Sheri, i’ve had alot changes in my life within these past 3 yrs from my relationship with my son …, my relationship with my boyfriend …, changing jobs then being promoted about 3mnths ago, then injuring my knee and now needing surgery. All of these have helped me to grow so much spiritually but it just seems like so many things are going on and moving so fast! It’s like when one thing’s done another is lined up, almost as if there’s an urgency to things. Can you tell me anything about what may be going on? I also wanted to know if things will get better between my son and i soon? Things have been kinda rocky between us and it’s been pretty stressful, i’m feeling like i need a break soon lol. Another thing i’m really curious about is my divine or life purpose. I read ALOT!! I absolutely love to learn about life and its mysteries and lately i’ve been studying about spirituality, angels, spirit guides and intuition and now i’m moving towards reiki healing. I’m curious to know what my divine purpose may be and if it has anything to do with healing? Thanx in advance for all of your help Sheri and peace & blessings to you!!”

Dear Optimistically Curious,
Actually, there is a good reason things are moving so fast around you. Your energy is a bit unusual … not bad, just different. It seems like your soul is craving excitement and change. Maybe it’s coming in forms you’re not expecting, though. Maybe the excitement and change keep coming because the thing you desire to change most has not yet changed. Numerologically speaking, the path you walk in this life is a 1, which means you are the individual, the self-starter, the leader. Your birthday, the gift you are born with, doubles this energy. I also noticed the energy of your current year is a 5 which is all about change and can be chaotic. It doesn’t sound like things are bad for you, but if you’d like to slow things down, work on finding balance. Maybe do some thinking on that thing that hasn’t changed to your satisfaction, too.
Your soul is energetic and curious, and it doesn’t surprise me that you have interest in the healing arts, but I don’t think your interest will remain there. I can see you researching many things. You won’t be satisfied with any one topic. Instead, you’ll be drawn deeper and deeper into true knowledge.
The one thing that really stuck out to me with your question is your son. There is something going on with him, and I think this past year as been truly difficult for him. He might feel like others have it easier than he does. I feel him feeling like maybe you think he’s not trying when he is trying. (This may just be how he perceives things, too.) He seems to have to try harder to be successful. Others have it easier and are more successful with less effort. He may have brought in some past life karma, too. I think there’s more at play here than just current circumstances and energy. He needs a lot of encouragement. Things will get easier for him, but he may always have to work harder than others to achieve the same goals. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, though. Once those obstacles are overcome and he reaches whatever goals he sets for himself, his successes should be longer lasting. His upcoming birthday should help as well.
He will be entering a 5 year, which as you know can be chaotic, but this will bring changes. It just might bring the positive momentum your son needs to overcome some of the obstacles he’s been facing. Whatever foundations or beginnings he has created for himself in this past year will affect the outcomes of the upcoming changes. He may struggle with personal freedoms even more so than any other teenager, too. It’s not going to be an easy time for you being his mom, but at least you can use this information to help you prepare. Again, he will need support. Encourage him to fight for what he wants. I feel like sometimes he loses faith in himself over what he is able to do; he gives up too easily. Yes, others succeed with much less effort, but he can succeed, too. He will just have to work harder.
