“I’ve been on your waiting list for over a month, and I desperately need your advice.  I feel like I can’t move forward.  I need your guidance.  I’ve gone to community college for a year and am planning to transfer to a university that’s two hours away this year, but I have a lot of issues here at home that make it impossible to leave.  I want to transfer, but I’m afraid that things will fall apart here if I do.  Should I just give up on what I want?”  – Desperate

Dear Desperate,

I don’t know the details of what’s going on at home, but I can tell you that the people around you are capable of more than you think they are.  I get the very distinct feeling of someone who’s energy is being drained by those around them.  Have you ever thought of saying, “NO” to someone besides yourself?  Maybe it’s time to start.

I can see both paths – if you stay, and if you go.  If you stay, I see your life becoming stagnant … you don’t seem happy.  If you go, you are maybe too happy.  Shaking off some of your chains might make you love your freedom, so be careful how much “freedom” you enjoy.  In October, you enter into a 5 year, Numerologically speaking.  This is a great time to travel and make changes, but it also helps bring chaos into your life.  You must stay focused even in the midst of new found freedom.  Once you’re on the outside, you’ll have a much better view of what I mean about the people around you.  They lean on you too much, and I think you’ll find that their lives will change for the better once they have to rely on themselves a bit more.  Besides, two hours away isn’t really that far.  Don’t feel guilty about giving in to yourself once in a while.  This is your future!

There’s a major part of your question that really bother’s me, though.  No one should ever, EVER, let themselves believe that they can’t move forward without the advice of a psychic, or anyone for that matter.  I’ve received a few emails like this one over the last few weeks from people who’ve been on my waiting list, and I have to say that it makes me feel horrible but not for the reason you might think.  Yes, I feel badly that I’m not able to help others right now, but what kills me inside is that people would believe they don’t have the power to live their lives without my advice.  My ability is no different from the gifts you already have within your own soul.  All of us were given the same gifts I have.  Not everyone is meant to be a professional psychic, but everyone is meant to trust their own “inner voice”.  It’s there for a reason.  If you are always giving up your power to decipher what that voice is saying, then you might not hear it anymore.  You have to use that muscle for it to become stronger.  Please, please, please don’t ever allow yourself to feel like you can’t move forward or you can’t make a decision without first talking to a psychic.  In your case, once you start taking back the power and energy that you are so freely giving to everyone else, you will have the power and energy you need to live your own life.

Wishing you the courage to make changes,

Sheri
