Angelic Astrology – May 2015

The month of May has a Universal Vibration of 13/4. The number 13 is a karmic number in numerology and indicates a huge internal transition, but let’s look at the reduced vibration of the 4 energy and explain that first.

The number 4 suggests that this is going to be a month where focus, effort, determination, perseverance and patience are needed. It is about working towards our goals, taking a step by step approach, and paying attention to the details to build a solid and secure foundation for our plans and dreams.

The karmic 13 vibration brings in an element of inner transformation! The number 13 is considered a sacred number by ancient mystics and speaks of a death and rebirth process that one will go through as they release old energies, emotions and belief systems that are no longer needed. This allows a person to transform and transmute old energies and then to rebirth themselves into a Higher Expression, like a snake shedding its skin, or the phoenix rising from the ashes being born anew!

The 13^th major arcana in the tarot is, in fact, the Death Card, signifying a symbolic death and purging of lower vibrational energies, and a profound change and transformation on the emotional and psychological levels. This energy is very similar to the energy of the astrological sign of Scorpio in astrology which, interestingly enough, is the sign of the Full Moon that we will experience on May 3^rd of this month.

And this brings us to the first astrological happening for the month of May……a Full Moon in Scorpio on May 3^rd at 13 degrees! I find it particularly interesting that this Full Moon happens at 13 degrees Scorpio which matches the Karmic Number 13 Universal Vibration for the Month of May. I believe that this is very significant and a sign of much transformation that we will experience during the next 31 days.

Also on May 3^rd Mercury in Gemini will oppose Saturn in Sagittarius, just prior to the full moon energy, which brings a serious undertone and quality to initiate these deep, subconscious energies of death and rebirth. We may feel more internal as we tune into our inner truth, and our communications with others will be more serious and realistic in nature. We will feel this, along with the Scorpio Full Moon energies, at least a day prior on May 2^nd as the astrological energies build in intensity.

Early on May 4^th the Sun in Taurus creates a challenging aspect to Jupiter in Leo, although we will feel this connection as early as May 3^rd as it starts to come closer together throughout the day. This is about how we value ourselves and the feeling of expanding outside of our comfort zone with our creative self-expression in various areas of our lives. Know that you are worthy and deserving of whatever Blessings the Universe wishes to bestow upon you!

On Wednesday, May 6^th, you will start to feel more empowered as the Sun now makes a positive connection with powerful Pluto, planet of transformation. Step into that power and shine your Light out to the world!

Venus, planet of love and relationships, as well as money and finances, moves out of the sign of Gemini and into the water sign of Cancer on May 7^th. She will be more comfortable here as Venus is ruler of the Divine Feminine energies and Cancer is a sign that rules nurturing, mothering, emotions and taking care of others. Our heart chakra will expand and we will allow ourselves to feel more of an Unconditional Love energy for all!

On May 9^th Mercury the Messenger, is creating a challenging square aspect to Neptune in Pisces. Our thoughts and beliefs, as well as our communications with others, may be a little confusing and unclear. It will be a wonderful energy for creative writing, other artistic endeavors, as well as tuning into our inner intuition…..just release the tendency of the logical mind trying to analyze the information that comes through, and instead just trust and let it flow!

We have another planet changing signs on Monday, May 11^th! This time it is Mars, ruler of energy and action, moving from Taurus into the air sign Gemini. He will remain in Gemini until June 24^th. While Mars was in Taurus our movement forward was more slow and steady. Now, in Gemini, the energies pick up speed! Gemini is a mutable sign, and the sign of the Twins, so you may find that we are multi-tasking now and trying to work on many things, or go in many directions, at once. What we have to be aware of is that although the energies may be busy and chaotic, with a lot happening at once, it is not very grounded or focused, and therefore, we may have scattered energies with not a lot actually being accomplished. Try to focus on one or two things at a time, with the intention of taking the steps necessary to follow through and bring them to a conclusion.

On May 12^th the Moon in Pisces will make positive connections to Venus and Neptune, but challenging connections to Saturn and Mercury. As long as you stay balanced and centered in your heart chakra……in a space of unconditional love and compassion, and release the confusion of the ego mind, all will be well.

“All good things come to those who wait” is the motto on May 15^th as Mars in Gemini opposes Saturn in Sagittarius. Mars wants to move forward fast, and the energy of Sagittarius wants to give us Blessings, but Saturn rules 3^rd dimensional time so you may find that situations and circumstances are at the mercy of Divine Timing. All will unfold and manifest when and how it should according to the Universe.

Venus in Cancer is in a harmonious relationship with Neptune in Pisces on May 16^th, accentuating the energy of the Divine Feminine and Unconditional Love once again! Utilize this energy by nurturing those you love, spending some romantic time together, and enjoying the feelings of merging with this Higher Expression of energy! Remember, that this can also be about unconditionally loving and nurturing yourself, so treat yourself to some much needed self-care.

We have a New Moon at 27 degrees Taurus on Sunday, May 17^th! New Moons are about new beginnings and the energy of Taurus is about values, money, finances, focus, effort and working with the Earth energies! Taurus is an earth sign so you may see the manifestation of new beginnings in any of these areas of your life!

On Monday, May 18^th, we see the biggest astrological happening of the month! This is when we begin the next Mercury Retrograde cycle! Mercury turns to retrograde motion at 13 degrees Gemini (another 13 vibration) and will retrograde all the way back to 4 degrees Gemini before turning to direct motion on June 11^th. Gemini is one of the two signs of the zodiac that Mercury rules so we will definitely feel this one! Mercury rules communications of all kinds and Gemini does as well. Gemini is a mutable air sign which means it is very changeable, curious and off in many different directions at once. There may be miscommunications with others and you may want to double check dates and times of all appointments and meetings. There may be delays or cancellations with short distance travel, and you may experience mental confusion or fatigue. This is an optimal time to redo, re-organize, research, and re-evaluate. The purpose of Mercury retrograde is to allow us the time to make the changes that we need, to any goals, projects, ideas or directions in life that need to be made. There may be information that we are missing or unaware of, or we may need the time to fine tune certain situations in our lives before moving forward.

On the 21^st the Sun also enters Gemini, joining Mercury and Mars, so now we have a huge focus on information, data, communication and many energies occurring simultaneously. On the same day, Venus in Cancer opposes Pluto in Capricorn, bringing transformation to relationships in our lives. It will also bring potential growth and changes to the power structure within our connections with others, as Venus brings the Divine Feminine Energies into a balance with the Divine Masculine.

The Sun in Gemini dances opposite to Saturn in Sagittarius on May 22^nd. Our physical energy may be a little lower than it has been over the past few days and there is a focus on authority issues and responsibility in our lives.

We may experience some challenging energies on May 25^th as Venus squares Uranus and Mars squares Neptune. Venus, the feminine principle, rules love and Mars, the masculine principle, rules sexuality. There may be some confusion, lack of boundaries and/or freedom circumstances that arise with this energy.

Between May 27^th and May 30^th, Mercury is making connections to several planets. First, on the 27^th the messenger planet combines with Mars with a wave of ideas that he wants to take action on. Remember though, that Mercury is in retrograde motion and it may be best to brainstorm, but wait for a later time to initiate the idea into action. On the 29^th Mercury creates a challenging aspect to Neptune in Pisces which brings confusion and lack of clarity, as well as miscommunication with other people in our lives. Then, on May 30^th, the Sun and Mercury meet in Gemini and we are multi-tasking, sending and receiving a lot of messages and communications, and staying busy.

On May 31^st the Sun in Gemini creates a difficult connection with Neptune and we are feeling ungrounded, confused and unsure as to how the time of this month has gone by so quickly. We may be wondering what steps to take next, or which direction is most appropriate for us to follow at this time. Once Mercury goes direct by the middle of June, our thoughts, ideas and energies will become more focused and balanced so that we gain more clarity as to what decision needs to be made to move us forward on our Paths.

I asked the angels what messages they wanted to give to everyone this month and this is the information they shared.

Meditation is going to be important this month in order to stay balanced and centered with all the chaotic energies going on around you. The angels ask that you also use the crystals of Mother Earth, in this quiet time of self-reflection, to stay grounded, and assist in the visualization and manifestation process of what you intend to create. You are a channel for the energies of Divine Source God…..a co-creator with the Universe to bring about the fruition of your dreams, goals and desires, and the more grounded and centered you are, the greater your capacity for channeling this energy.

To expand on the above message, they are also asking that you use the meditation and crystal healing to release all negative thoughts, belief systems and patterns that you no longer need……remember that we are in a time of an internal transformation that is taking place within us on a deep and internal level. Your angels and guides are saying that your prayers and intentions are manifesting so have faith and stay positive……it may just take a little more time in the creation process than you would like.

With all of the Gemini energy this month, the angels are saying that this is a wonderful time to write. Write about your feelings and emotions that need healing, write out a list of goals and intentions that you are working on, or do some creative writing if this is part of your Path. Any form of writing will assist in the purging and releasing, or creation and manifestation of energies you focus on for the month.
