Karma & Destiny

I am going to start out this month’s Angelic Astrology article with focusing on the numerological energy of July. For this year of 2013, July vibrates to a 13/4. We get this by adding the Universal Year number for 2013 which is a 6 (2+0+1+3=6) to the month of July which is a 7 (July is the 7^th month in our year). So, 6+7=13.

Why do I find this important? Well, in numerology there are a few numbers that are considered “karmic numbers.” One of them is the number 13. The number 13 in numerology is associated with deep and profound inner transformation and change……like a snake that sheds it’s skin so it can grow anew…..it is about death and rebirth………letting go of the old so that the new can be made manifest. This, ultimately, is a very good thing but in the midst of change and going through the releasing process of circumstances, situations, relationships and thought/belief systems that are no longer valid or in our Highest and best interest, it can be quite challenging.

The 13^th major arcana in the tarot divination system is the Death Card (a card of transformation). This card, also, is about an emotional, psychological or “ego” death and a release from old attachments that have outlived their purpose in our lives. Remember that the “death” is always followed by a rebirth…….the beginning of a new way of seeing, being, and experiencing life.

The number 13 is ruled by the planet Saturn. I find it interesting that this month the planet Saturn is stationing to turn back to direct motion. Saturn is considered the “Lord of Karma” and “The Great Teacher.” Wherever Saturn is in your chart, either natally or by transit, is where we are purging old karmic energies, patterns or situations and where we have our greatest lessons.

As Saturn slows down to its station point, the energies will increase in intensity and be felt more strongly. This always happens when one of the planets is either slowing down to go retrograde or slowing down to go direct. It becomes more pronounced or focused. So, as this time is approaching, we are feeling an increased urgency, either consciously or subconsciously, to clear out the cobwebs, so to speak. Our dreams may be more active as we work out and cleanse away old mental and emotional programming. We may have chance meetings or encounters with people from our past where there needs to be healing and resolution. Repeating themes in circumstances and relationships may intensify with Saturn’s last efforts of assisting us in learning what lessons we can from the situation.

Saturn turns to direct motion on Monday, July 8^th at 1:12am EST just a couple of hours before the New Moon in Cancer which is at 3:14am EST on that same day. How appropriate……..Saturn’s focus of purging, releasing, letting go and teaching us what we need to know for this cycle is complete right before the New Moon’s energies of new beginnings and fresh starts.

With this said, the first week of July will be quite important for our soul’s growth, evolution, transformation and change.

To assist us in this transition process is Mercury, the planet of thought processes and communication which has been retrograde since June 26^th and will not turn to direct motion until July 20^th. This is actually helpful for us as the energies of Mercury turn inward while in retrograde motion, allowing us to use our focused powers of contemplation and introspection to understand and heal areas of our life and our being during this cycle of major change.

On a lighter note, also be aware of Mercury’s effect on communications with others, transportation and electronics during this time.

On July 17^th we have another planet that is stationing, this time to turn to retrograde motion. This is the planet Uranus, called the Great Awakener or the Lightning Bolt of God. This planet’s energy is almost the opposite of Saturn’s. Saturn grounds us to the 3^rd dimension. Uranus enlightens us to the Higher dimensions. Saturn is about structure and earthly living. Uranus is about breaking out of structure and connecting with Source.  Saturn is about man’s law. Uranus is about Universal Law. Saturn is about order and tradition. Uranus is about being the rebel and following the beat of your own drum.

So, not long after Saturn’s station to turn direct which brings to a head all this karmic energy we are purging, Uranus stations to turn retrograde, intensifying the energy of breaking free to be who we really are……..a Divine Spark of Enlightened Energy……..Light Beings with a Special Mission……a mission to accept, connect with, and integrate with our Higher Soul Selves. Keep in mind that Uranus will be retrograde and will not turn to direct motion until December 2013, giving us time to become more comfortable with this heightening and fine tuning of our vibration and our energy field.

The days just preceding and just after the Uranus station to retrograde there is also a magnificent Grand Trine in the water signs with Neptune in Pisces, Saturn in Scorpio and Jupiter and Mars in Cancer. This is a beautiful and supportive energy magnifying the Divine Feminine aspect. Think of it this way. Neptune is our visions and dreams……..Saturn helps to bring it into manifestation and form…..Jupiter allows it to expand and grow…….and Mars is the activator that makes it happen! So, be sure to have your thoughts, emotions, ideas and beliefs in alignment with the Highest and Purest Essence of Love and Light, Compassion and Peace, Success and Happiness, and Prosperity and Abundance.

And this all leads up to the Full Moon in Aquarius on Monday, July 22^nd at 2:15pm EST. It should be quite an exciting month indeed!

When I asked the Angels for any special messages that they wished to relay to everyone for this month of July, this is what they said.

There will be much healing that will occur this month. Be open to, and ask for assistance from the Divine Healers of the Light. Allow the clearing of old energies, especially from the Heart Chakra and be good to your physical and emotional bodies through diet, exercise and meditation.

Be open to the Divine Feminine energies and allow yourself to receive all that the Universe wishes to give you. Know that you deserve it for you are a child of God/Goddess/All That Is. Nurture yourself, be kind to yourself, love yourself and let the gifts of abundance flow to you.

Move forward with confidence towards your desires. If there are changes that you wish to make, now is the time. Archangel Michael walks with you now giving you the courage to assert yourself in those circumstances and situations in your life that needs re-direction and transformation.
