Angelic Astrology – February 2014

Well, I am absolutely excited about the energies that start off our month of February 2014!

We begin this month having just transitioned into the Chinese Year of the Horse. Yes, we have left the emotional purging and transformation of the Year of the Water Snake behind and we now move into the freedom oriented, energetic, forward moving Year of the Wood Horse! Some people actually refer to this year as the magical Year of the Unicorn and I can certainly feel that energy because we are in a Universal 7 Year for 2014, according to numerology. The number 7 is a very spiritual number and brings in that element of spirit, wisdom and magic and if we connect to the potential of that energy within ourselves, then we will make the most out of this Year of the Horse/Unicorn!

Along with starting this month with the independent, fast paced Year of the Horse energy galloping in, we also start the month off with the planet Venus turning to direct motion. Venus rules love, relationships, our values, our money and the Divine Feminine Energy. It actually went direct on January 31^st while it was very close to a conjunction with Pluto in Capricorn, opposing Jupiter in Cancer, and squaring Uranus in Aries. This configuration, which we felt strongly the last two weeks of January (and are still feeling), brought up a lot of challenges in our relationships, with our emotions and with our values. It brought up the shadow side energies related to these issues and forced us to look at what we really want and deserve in our lives. Ultimately, it was about empowering the Divine Feminine…………asking us to take back our power, own our power and integrate our power within ourselves………….asking us to value ourselves and release those circumstances, situations and energies in our lives that were dis-empowering us. For the first five days of February the planet Jupiter, which is in the sign of Cancer, will be in a trine aspect to Chiron in Pisces. Chiron is the wounded healer in astrology and it is where we have a karmic wound that needs resolution and healing. Jupiter in Cancer is assisting with expanding us into that Divine Feminine energy that we talked about earlier and here it is helping to heal any wounds we may have with our own feminine nature………that part of us that is in touch with Peace, Compassion, and Unconditional Love. Because there is an aspect of past lives involved with Chiron, it is actually helping to heal lifetimes where the Divine Feminine was repressed, abused or tortured out of existence. It is now time to allow for this healing to take place and bring the Divine Feminine energies back into balance with the Divine Masculine so that we can heal ourselves and heal our planet, bringing energies back into a proper alignment as we move forward into 5^th Dimensional Energies.

On February 6^th the planet Mercury, which rules communication, thinking, and ideas, makes its way into another retrograde cycle. It is stationing retrograde at 3 degrees Pisces and will be traveling all the way back to 18 degrees Aquarius. Mercury will be in this retrograde cycle for the whole month of February, turning stationary direct on February 28^th. Because it starts its retrograde in the sign of Pisces and close to a conjunction with Neptune, which is at 4 degrees, look for communications to be muddled and confused. The positive side to this energy is that it is a great time for creative writing, using visualization techniques, and for tapping into spiritual energies and enhancing your psychic perceptions.

On February 10^th and 11^th, the Sun in Aquarius will be making a challenging square to Saturn in Scorpio. Aquarius and Scorpio are both fixed signs and the Sun and Saturn can both represent authority so be aware that during these two days people may “butt heads” so to speak, or there may be interactions where both parties are being stubborn and want things to be their way with little room of giving in.

Conversely, the time period of February 14^th-16^th seems very positive with the potential for easy communication and forward movement. On Valentine’s Day, February 14^th, we have a Full Moon at 26 degrees Leo. On the same day the Sun in Aquarius makes an easy flowing aspect to Mars in Libra. This should be a great time for creative matters, relationships and feelings of fun and joyful experiences. On February 15^th the Sun conjuncts Mercury and on February 16^th Mercury trines Mars. This energy supports positive thoughts and communications in partnerships, with groups of people, and with your ideas related to humanitarian projects or ideals.

On February 18^th the Sun moves from Aquarius into Pisces. This shifts the energy from being more objective and tapped into intelligence, to spiritual and tapped into intuition. The energy of Pisces is more elusive, imaginative and dreamy and is more about compassion and unconditional love for all.

The North and South Node, which are karmic points in astrology, have been in the signs of Taurus and Scorpio since August 30^th 2012. As they have travelled through the degrees in both these signs, we have seen karmic issues on our planet pertaining to power, control, secrets, values and money. The nodes function as evolutionary triggers and bring up the issues that humanity and our planet (as well as ourselves) needs to face to further its evolution and growth. We have certainly seen this since that time when they first entered this pair of signs. On February 23^rd, the North and South Node will now shift into the signs of Aries and Libra. Before this date we may see a heightened surge of energy related to the above themes. As the nodes move into Aries and Libra from this month until November 2015 we will then see karmic evolution and growth for the planet and humanity in the areas of individuality, leadership, independence, cooperation, compromise, balance and Self vs. Other.

To close out the month we have a New Moon at 10 degrees Pisces. Technically this New Moon happens at 11:59pm PST on February 28^th but if you live in Mountain, Central or Eastern Time here in the USA it actually does not occur until March 1^st. Suffice it to say, this New Moon is in a positive connection with Jupiter in Cancer and Chiron in Pisces so it will bring further healing in the area of family, emotional relationships and our connection to our own spiritual energies.

Just as a side note, we have three heavenly bodies getting ready to make a direction change in early March………….Mars will be slowing down all this month as it gets ready to turn retrograde on March 1^st, Saturn will be stationing this month as it gets ready for its retrograde motion on March 2^nd and Jupiter will be turning to direct motion on March 6^th. Tune in next month to find out what these energies are all about but, in the meantime, know that we are continuing our journey through expansion and reconfiguration into Higher Dimensional Energies that is transforming us into the Spiritual Beings that we always were but for a time may have forgotten.

I asked the Angels what messages they wanted to share with everyone for this month of February and this is what they said.

The energies have now shifted and it is time to move forward, embrace your heart’s desires and ride the fast moving energies like a wave to successful outcomes. Leave all unhealthy situations, circumstances and energies behind……release them once and for all, for now is the time where your ideas, projects and plans can begin to manifest! Stay persistent and have patience as the new energies settle in and take hold!

For those that have been dealing with challenges in your relationships, the angels say that they are assisting you. Some of you are in the midst of making choices and decisions based on what has occurred over the past few weeks…….the angels say to stay centered in your heart space and allow them to bring the answers to you that are in your Highest and Best interest. Others have been dealing with financial issues that have affected your relationships with loved ones…….your guides and angels are saying that in opening up to the Unconditional Divine Support of the Universe you will be supported in ways that you may not have thought possible. Have Faith, Trust and Believe!
