Angelic Astrology – December 2015

Note: The format of the Monthly Angelic Astrology Article has changed. I have been guided to only focus on the astrological highlights of any given month. This will give a more clear, and concise picture of what the energies of the month are, and how to best work with those energies for our evolution, spiritual growth, and movement forward on our Paths!

December is a 2 Universal Month within an 8 Universal Year. This is the last month in this year’s numerology vibration of an 8 energy. This year has been about empowering ourselves on a spiritual level and focusing on career/Life Path and money/financial resources on a physical level.

The last month of November should have brought us some new beginnings in certain areas of our lives. Now, with the 2 vibration of December there is a focus on balance and equality within our lives and within our relationships, as well as a sense of working together to achieve the energy of empowerment that we all seek. When two or more come together, more can be accomplished and goals can be more easily reached! There is an element of patience needed as energies behind the scenes are re-organizing and assisting with the unfolding of the next step for us all!

The true double digit vibration for this month is a 20. The 20^th Major Arcana in the Tarot is Judgment which is ruled by the element of fire, and by Pluto, the planet of transformation. According to Megan Skinner in her book, “Essence of the Tarot”, the Judgment card rules the path of Reckoning which is about accountability. We must all become empowered enough to look at the truth of who we are…..our spiritual side and our shadow side…..and how we live or choose to live according to our values, ideals, beliefs, etc. We must all be accountable for our lives, but also how we treat each other, and the care and love that we give to the planet and all upon it.

In the traditional tarot card Judgment we see Archangel Gabriel blowing a horn. This is a wake-up call! There is an opportunity here for all of us to awaken to a higher consciousness and a Higher Truth! The element of Fire purifies us and Pluto, ruler of this card, symbolizes death and rebirth and a time of great change!

This last month of the year 2015 is a call for us to reassess our energies and align with our true soul essence……to shift our consciousness and empower ourselves so we can better empower others……we are all One……we all come from the same God Source Energy! We must realize that when we judge and hurt others, we judge and hurt ourselves……when we uplift and assist others, we uplift and assist ourselves as well!

We start the month out astrologically with Venus changing signs from partnership oriented Libra to passionate Scorpio on December 4^th. She will move quickly through the watery depths of this sign, changing signs again on the last day of the month. While she is in Scorpio, there will be an emphasis on other people’s money and resources. In relationship matters she is more sexual and magnetic and able to attract what she desires into her life.

December 5^th – 10^th is busy, astrologically speaking, with the Moon in Libra on the 5^th and 6^th creating challenging connection to both Pluto and then Uranus, bringing transition and transformation energies through the relationships in our lives. This is intensified by Mars, planet of assertiveness and action, making a square aspect to Pluto as well. This combination of Mars and Pluto together can create anger, frustration and power and control issues, so be aware that people’s “buttons” may be pushed rather easily and emotions are likely be shown. The energy of Mars moves forward towards an opposition to Uranus the next few days until arriving at its exact point on December 10^th. These 6 days may bring some tests, and there may be some unexpected actions taken by others, as well as surprising developments and redirections that occur during this time period.

Mercury, planet of the mind and communications, changes signs during this time as well, moving into Capricorn on December 9^th. While Mercury is in this sign our thoughts are more goal oriented and practical. We come up with ideas to further our ambitions and decide what steps we need to take next to reach where it is we want to go on our Path.

We have a New Moon at 19 degrees Sagittarius on Friday, December 11^th! This new moon lunation makes a challenging aspect to Jupiter in Virgo, forcing us (in a good way) to expand our perceptions and change our belief systems where necessary in order to believe in ourselves and believe in our direction once again!

On December 21^st the Sun makes its usual trek into the sign of Capricorn. Now it has joined Mercury in this sign so our minds and energies are more focused on working towards our ambitions of what we desire to accomplish during this time.

Christmas day this year has a lot happening! We start with the Full Moon at 3 degrees Cancer. Mercury in Capricorn is in a challenging relationship with Mars in Libra during this lunation, so we may have mental frustration and difficult communications happening with others. However, Mercury is connected positively with Jupiter which will either help to buffer some of the agitation that we are feeling, or magnify it, depending on the conscious choices that we make.

Also on the 25^th Uranus is stationary direct, getting ready to move forward again! When a planet slows down to station, it heightens and magnifies the energy of that planet and what it rules. Uranus is called the Great Awakener (which relates to the Judgment Card that we spoke of earlier) and brings in surprising developments and redirections that we may not have seen coming.

Uranus is electrical, so we may also find that we feel this energy vibration in our physical bodies in some way and/or have trouble sleeping a few days before and after this date. Uranus relates to the God Mind and our Crown Chakra…..it also relates to our ability to channel and receive spiritual messages, so this will become intensified during this time……it is awakening our spiritual sensitivities and psychic perceptions! Pay attention to your dreams at this time as well, as they may have symbolic (or literal) messages for you!

The last significant astrological energy this month is Venus changing signs for the second time. On December 30^th it now moves into mutable, fire sign Sagittarius. The Divine Feminine Energy that is Venus feels more light-hearted, energetic and free now……travel, physically or mentally, is highlighted as is education and sharing ideas and spiritual perspectives with others!
